Tough, Tough loss for Lex Cath. Great clutch drive by Trinity.

Sounds like an "Instant Classic" of a game. (at least the ending)

Although the late drive will have to be a positive it does worry me that they were for most of the game outplayed by a team that most people thought they would handle more easily???

Maybe. But I'd still be floored if it isn't St. X/Trinity in the state finals.

Wouldn't surprise me if someone crashes that party...but not prepared to write off the Rocks yet...this is, after all, a pretty darn good LexCath team...and T did find a way to win. Sometimes you have to simply be happy with a "W".

Has anybody seen the brackets? Can't find them on http://www.khsaa.org...goes to a dead link...

This leaves me somewhat worried. I was not there though.

Makes LCA fans feel pretty good, considering that we only lost to LexCath by 1 point.

Probably will see that KHSAA bracket updated tomorrow. Trinity's bracket will look like this:

[4] Southern at [1] Trinity

[3] Seneca at [2] Shelby County

[4] Eastern at [1] Male

[3] Fern Creek at [2] Ballard

All teams, including Male, would play a regional final at Trinity. Regional winner will host the winner of the Lexington region in the state semifinals.

I don't even want to hear that Trinity is as good a Simon Kenton. They aren't....period!!!!!:D

That must mean that Lone Oak could play with the likes of Trinity ,,,,,,Right?????

For the life of me I hate hearing any comparisons of well Team A played Team B and did this well against them and Team B played Team C and did this well against them. Thus Team A should be able to play this well against Team C right? Too many outlying factors dilute this equation. Lex Cath is by far a better team today then they were four or five weeks ago I feel. The Boyle Co. game seems to have really awakened this group. As for Trinity, I have no clue of their situation currently except to state it sounded like a bit of a down year when compared to other TRINITY seasons.

I couldn't say more about this game. Instant Classic for sure. I couldn't be more proud of Lex Cath and finally coming out of the gate fired up and ready to go against a team that a lot of people thought would be a blow them out. Also, prayers for the man and his family from Trinity who had a heart attack at the end of the game.

Sounds like a gut check for Trinity and Simon Kenton is feeling like that brass ring just got alittle more within their reach.

We'll see how it all plays out won't we? HAHAHAHAHA
