After leading 29 to 14 at half, Trinity falls behind by 8 in 4th qtr and comes back to force OT.

Win in OT with free throws and great defense on last possessions.

Huge effort by Trinity.

 

Still did not play well the whole tournament on the offensive end of the floor but again won with a great defensive and team effort.

 

Had to overcome point guard Corbett seeing limited action during second half due to foul trouble. With him in the game, Lex Cath pressure MUCH less effective!

 

Had to overcome some very questionable officiating and a solid effort by the Lex Cath team.

 

Way to go players!

ONly a sophomore as well. Trinity may end up having more success on the hardwood over the next few years than on the gridiron. They have a couple freshman that are dynamite as well in James Quick and Jason Hatcher.

The combination of the seniors (Sewell, Epley, Corbett) and the sophomores(Foster, Saxton, Deudonne) has been very effective so far THIS year!

Seems to me whoever is playing well at playoff time will be the favorite. Anyone can make a case for Ballard at this time. Afterall, they beat Trinity head to head. Trinity has not played Jtown or Eastern yet(both came up short in their tourneys today, Jtown lost in finals of Gaslight and Eastern lost in finals of the Upward tourney in S.C.) Just too early to pick a favorite. We will just have to wait and see:popcorn:

To win both the KOB and Lexcath tourney is quite an accomplishment.
