Thoughts and comments on this years officiating crews for the championship games. I saw 4 of the games and thought overall the crews did a good job. What do you think?

Bourbon's younger teams are looking pretty good this year. And they have a youth program that got started a couple of years ago that is starting to look promising.

The School AD has to share some of this responsibility. They confirm the refs they have so they can have paperwork prepared for the refs to sign.

I was on the 1987 team and we went 7-4. That was the last winning season before the 1997 State Championship team.

I would love to hear this one as well. I remember when I was a Sophomore back in the 70's (Yes, we wore face masks then but played without shoes. ). This was prior to PSK (post scrimmage kick) enforcement which was added to the rules about 6 or 7 years ago. I believe if I remember correctly that was the correct enforcement back in the day.

What was the confusion on LCA's extra point. It was signaled good and then after Lex. Caths. coach ran out on the field yelling at the refs for 2 or o 3 minutes they take the extra point away. I never heard what happened or what the explanation was.

That makes three wins I believe. Keep up the good work.
