  12. Anderson Co. blocked extra point on Oldham's last score with about 1:30 to tie score. OT: Anderson held Oldham to filed goal then scored on first play on QB draw to the right side, he went untouched into the endzone

  14. Its not a forfeit. Both coaches mutually agreed to shorten the quarter and end the game. As stated in the rule book this acceptable way to end any quarter or game.
  15. When are the regions being played? They are playing at Harrison County aren't they?
  16. Are you serious. Why should a team that is getting beat up be the first to put their subs in against the winning teams Varsity players. This is the exact mental attitude that has eroded the sportsmanship in high school athletics. I predict within 5-10 years that there will be a large shortage of high school officials. Who would want to put in the many hours of meetings, rule study and travel for very little pay with all of the crazy parents and the many coaches that dont even know the difference in Friday night and Saturday or Sunday rules. Why would they want to continue trying to create a safe, fair playing field for two teams to engage in a great game where you learn so much more than how to win or lose. You tell me why!
  17. I wasn't refering to this thread. I was talking about at the game with a 38-0 lead and a 45-6 win. Sometimes its hard to see your nose spite your face.
  18. On an onside kick the ball must go 10 yards and touch the ground before the kickers can recover it. The line judge had a bean bag down on the 48 yard line where the ball touched one of the kickers before it went 10 yards. The ball continued on 11 yards to Boyle's 49 yard line where a Boyle player landed on the ball. Because there was first touching by the kicking team the receivers get the ball at the spot of first touching. I forgot your Boyle county and you think you know everything. I have never seen fans and coaches from a good program complain so much about nothing. Maybe we are forgetting that we are teaching these young men how to be winners in life. A very small portion of these players will go on to play at the next level, but they will all remember what they have learned from their coaches and parents and fans. It is great that there is a large amount of support for Boyle County football I love it and I wish there was more support for all of the high school programs, but we must remember that their is a big difference between supporting them and teaching them by bad example!!!!!!!
  19. There was some INCREDIBLY horrible sportsmanship from "some" of the Boyle County coaches, players, fans. It is hard for me to believe that a program with such a good history of producing this caliber of team would tollerate this kind of activity. With a 28 point lead and in complete control of the game, why would you onside kick on the opening kick of the second half.
  20. On the scoring play the ball was fumbled by the quarterback and then recovered by another player who advanced the ball about 5 yards for the score. I'm not sure what you thought you saw but that is how I saw it from where I was at.
