I did hear that several players had quit the team this past week. Don't know any details. Has anybody heard anything.

I played there under Wilson Sears and John Nochta during the Mid to late 80's and we had winning seasons 86,87,88 6-5 8-3 7-4

Ram, I just wanted to let you know that your face shield on your helmet is Illegall. That is an unsportsmanlike penalty for failure to wear the proper equiptment. All face shields shall be clear in color with no tint. 15 yard penalty on the kick off. Or I could just ask you to correct the problem before the kick off.:lol::lol::lol:

There was a little bit of everything in this game. Circus catches by both teams. Interceptions that turned into fumbles, muffed punt receptions that resulted in turnovers, stripped balls deep in opponets area, missed FG with :07 for the win, near safety late in 4th for the win, It was a hard fought contest that was played clean for a cross town rival. You hate that there is a loser in a game like this. Best of luck to both teams.

So if the receiver sets then moves toward the line of scrimmage 1/2 a step then resets for more than one second and the defense is not drawn offsides in a close game. You say that you would call illegal motion. Or would you swallow your whistle because their has been no advantage gained.

Is it false start if a wide out after becoming set, takes a step toward the line of scrimmage then resets before the snap.

The newer ball according to dealers, is a composite material which can be sold at a slightly lesser price to the schools than full leather. I have always liked Joe, and Coach Wiloughby was the offensive line coach at Bourbon when I played their. I have a great amount of respect for both of them.

excellent. I'm can't remember for sure but that might be how I got my start 10 years ago. Its easy to sit in the stands and have opinions or watch it in slow motion from one of 10 different angles and make the call.
