It's been a fun ride.

It was great to even be considered and now Boyle must look elsewhere. I am still hoping for a hire outside the system and I still hope my #1 High School candidate will consider the job.

(Hope you don't mind AA, I just pasted this off of my post behind you in the other thread.)

Well, it's been an exciting week for Boyle. I'm sure they have plenty very qualified coaches interested and the vacancy will be filled very soon.:thumb:

Who are you referring to? Do you know if the Boyle Co. officials had/have a back up plan? Any light you could shed on this?

How will any of the assistants feel now when they go and ask them if they want to be the Guy? Will they ask for 60 g's for 3 years, cat is out of the bag so people know they can find the dollar. Boyle may have just hurt themselve by leaking this info!

Oh Hatz, Please don't be telling people who your candidate is. I'd like a little while longer to decide if I want the position or not.

Actually, I think it was kinda exciting to think that perhaps we would get Guy to coach our team. Just this alone makes me believe that the administration at the school will be looking at good people for the job.

I actually mentioned who I would like Boyle to "go after" from the first thread after Pardue left. You can look that one up.

I don't know about a "backup" plan. I know of one coach that some would like to see them pursue that I mentioned before.

I'm a little superstitious and don't want to mention it again because it might not come true. :sssh::lol:

Well, I a little disappointed :cry:was hoping he would take the job,but old well it was a excited ride and that was cool.

I'm disappointed as well. I wish he would have taken the job, but it looks like all the Danville, Mercer, Lincoln, and Garrad athletes can enjoy their respective programs.

No "Bluegrass Miracle" this year.

How ironic?

Got ya! :thumb: I do recall who you mentioned earlier, and I too think that would be a great hire. I know the past week has been one of excitement and chaos, but like most have said... what a ride!
