Final

That's a bitter pill to swallow.

Congrats to the Knights.

Sounds like a very entertaining game. LC has come back a few times already this year.

Wow. I saw an earlier score and it looked like LCA had this one. I was hoping the little guys (as in 1A) could get a nice win. Did LexCath wear them down because of not having two way players? What happened?

How did the LCA back do?

For LCA:

Hayden

31 carries

191 yds

2 TD

Witt

14 carries

146 yards

2 TD

For LCA:

Hayden

31 carries

191 yds

2 TD

Witt

14 carries

146 yards

2 TD

LC gives up a ton of yards on the ground. I predicted 250 for Hayden. Heck, I didn't even know about the Witt kid.

No. The rain-delays certainly allowed the LCA players to get the rest they needed.

LCA missed their first extra point, & then failed on 2 other attempts to regain that one point. Special teams have hurt LCA all year. We pooch-kick on kickoffs, guaranteing that the opposition starts at their 40 yd line.

I missed the final 17 minutes of the game, so I can't give details. I DO know that LCA missed a 32 yard field goal attempt at the end of the game (special teams, again....).

LCA came out after the delay and let the game go. They were not the same team after an hour or more getting stiff.

The rain (weather.com indicated that over 3" fell) affected the passing game; at least to some degree.

Yeah, but LexCath was getting just as stiff,...and yet, THEY got it done.

Yeah the question is why and how do you not let it happen again?

Here's what I think the question is: how can we have improved over the years, and yet still be so weak on special teams?

I would think that every underclassman, that wanted to play more, would be working on punting & place-kicking on their own....

I'm very proud of what the boys accomplished before the 2 hour delay.
