REDDEVILMVP'06

That young man has size and pretty good feet ... Hopefully he is running and lifting twice a day ... He has major college potential ... :fire:

Sounds like Ky kids and coaches just wanted it more .. Congrats to all involved and the Coaches who included Kasey Clark from the Devils ....

I also hope only the best for Morgan .... Like traveling to the ditch for sorgum bowl ...

Instead of ranking the best jobs , should praise the dedicated coaches and supporters at the smallest schools struggling to keep this valuable activity alive. Having watched alot of 2a football in last several years each coach and community are doing a great job or at least the best they can with what they have to work with ..... Kids across Ky are benefitting from particpating in this team sport ...

Thanks for any info ... Need the guru to send us some updates

Radio ? Heard anything about Kasey Clark

How does Kasey Clark look ??? He can play , question - where is best fit ... With a devil in the fold ( this year) I predict a win .... Go Ky

Thanks... I thought east would be able to run it ... Also thought west might stack the boxs focing old coach to pass .... Mason newspaper credits Fleming and Mason coaches for real good plan ... Congrats to all the kids ... Good for football in this area , good for both sides to win ..

Missed this game , what happened , would have expected East to move the ball on the ground ?

any radio for this game

Looking foreward to playing Raceland .... Much more than Estill (but I do like the engineers) , East , West , Lewis ,Powell. Thankful to be playing quality opponent who we share backyards and football traditions ... Need a Greenup County traveling trophy ...

Last years game was played at a spirited , hard hitting level ..... With the Devils staff involved this year , the West will be ready , former opponent Fleming is always up for the Devils , while Mason surely remembers classic Grutza/Lofton games with the Devils ... Should be a good one .. Good luck to all involved , nice for kids ....

Wonder if the East is going to run the Wing T ... The old Coach has the eye for execution .... Whatever they do all the kids will benefit from time with a Russell staff that is very good ...

Tyler Jones Russell .... QB or RB .. Wing T produces yards

Devils at Russell ... Parents , cheerleaders , school , fans , announcer make kids feel like superstars .. The other teams , coaches ,fans always stand an watch introductions ... Russell is successful for many reasons ...

Devils will reload .... Only problem will be reloading in many areas .... I look for a solid season with unlimited possibilites come playoff time .... No one thought 2005 team could win it all .... 2007 could be more magic ... '05 had the right combination of physical kids with enough skills to get it done the hard way ... T E A M .... I look for this from Jones and Co this year ...

Having watched Morgan and the Devils for years. Something in recent years has made Morgan click . They went from a team with no chance to a team that if they got a few breaks could have actually taken down the Devils. Morgan skilled player level was just about as good as ours and they had a scheme. Differnece each year was on lines of scrimmage which take a JFL program to feed ... Morgan is on the move , hope it continues for whoever is the coach. Also like coming to the Ditch and sitting on the same side with friendly people from Morgan County. Went lot's of places in 2a but the people at Morgan were the best ....

Last years game was hard fought. Kids with only one week stepped up and played/hit very hard ..... If Ivan is Coaching we are going ... Likely we are going either way ...

Devils will go as far as Seniors take them ... Looking for big year from this group that played in two state games .... Seniors every year are the key ,,, set the tone for toughness ,both mentally and physically ...

2005 Playoffs Devils versus Newport ....Back and forth huge plays .... decided in OT

East's best player is Nate Carrol... If East can find on offensive line something they have not had since the Aaron Miller days... they will be a strong contender in the district... Russell lost a lot but still will be good... dont know much about Mason but if the raiders can find some hogs then look for a strong from the raiders

Devils can do it .. This will be a "coaching up" challenge for staff this year , lot's of new faces but with the feeders at Russell we reload .... Ivan has an eye for execution and how to put together a team to compete on this level ....

Fact : 5a enrollment Mercer is the 2a 2006 State Champ. The test of time will judge whether they are a sustained 5a program or a one year combination that was slightly better than everyone in 2a in 2006. This debate will go on a long as Mercer is successful in 5a .... I for one will be watching ....

This is a great draw for the 15th and 16th because we can play each other so both regions have a chance of actually winning a game... I know that paintsville has had some good teams in the past that have made some noise... but lets face it lately we in the 16th and the folks in the 15th have not been well respected when it comes to the other regions... we have been looked at as the draw that everybody wants to get

Love the ditch
