What awful planning...Has anyone attempted to get it changed?

I heard from a "very good source" that it was over a sign. And being in the middle of an AB, I believe it.

I go for atmosphere over "nice". So, unfortunately I'd have to go for playing at Highlands. Never turned out the right way but it's a great atmosphere.

I called my friend and it was 10-3 CCH. He texted me about 5 minutes later and said it was 10-9.

What time will the HC CCH game be played?

Another thing to note...I don't think CCH baseball has had an official "Senior Day" with the parents walking out and what not in a decent amount of time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

In my opinion, Senior Day is overrated...especially if you're on a team expected to make some postseason noise. I remember my Senior Day which was a district game against Oldham County (football) and all we were really thinking about was...if we win we have LexCath or HHS in 2 weeks. Point being, I guess it's kinda nice for the parents but from a player's standpoint, it's overhyped. 2 cents.

For what it's worth with Farris, I have been told by multiple people that he has been contacted by pro scouts that have told him he doesn't need to be playing catcher. I don't know the exact reasoning behind that but if I were him, I'd listen.

As a CCH alum, Dale has done alot of stuff behind the scenes that make him less than likeable in Park Hills. And before anyone starts pulling out the "rumors" posts, my PM box is wide open. As much as I hate to admit it, the guy is a great high school football coach and has a heck of a program in Fort Thomas. I'm just not that impressed with the way he's done it.

While I can acknowledge the fact that Highlands has a phenomenal football program, I root strongly against them in all contests. The one exception is if they are playing a GCL school...in which case I root for a scoreless tie.

The score of today's game is gonna be an ugly one when it's all said and done. My roommate went to the game and returned no later than an hour afterwards...it was 21-0 after an inning and a half.

Where is Deaton from? What's his story?

Duncan is a lacrosse player now, from what I understand.

Hill was pretty non-existent until the 4th quarter. Holmes has a solid team, just couldn't find a shooter.

Coach Lynn Ray taught me what it is to be loyal, what I humbly consider to be one of my finest characteristics. However, he taught that more or less indirectly. Directly, he preached a good work ethic and respecting the opposition. A great coach and a great man...with a great sense of humor too.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it posted on here one time that some big time football schools were looking at Hill as a WR?

When/where is the district championship?

I'm assuming this is a cheap shot for some beef you have with Coach Ray?

Please elaborate...Coach Ray wasn't a practicing Catholic.

I haven't heard of anyone that thinks Coach Ray was forced out. And to be honest, you couldn't force him out. He earned the right to stay there as long as he wanted, barring any unforseen circumstances. My negative feelings stemmed from Rodenberg's making it obvious from the first year that he intended to return to Ohio ASAP. It was obvious when the Oak Hills speculation started (that stuff doesn't just formulate out of thin air). The guy wanted no business of the CovCath family and that's his issue to deal with. Good coach, good riddance.
