I knew a student at this school and there was a TE who was headed to Texas to play football, in her grade. 6'6'' or so, and was one of the top prospects in the nation. She went to every football game but had no idea who this guy was. Either she's that oblivious or the team is that talented. Or both.

I don't know what to say other than Wow.

That is beautiful.

I have been to one of their home games, the line was long but I didn't know that it was this crazy.

I don't think $600 is too much for season tickets.

For 4 games?

You can get NFL season tickets for that much.

I would do it just because I would take High School football over the NFL anyday. High School is still for the love of the game and not money. I'm sure it is for a reserve seat, and yes if I could walk in just before warm ups and have my same seat every game I would love that. I have sat in too many games where I could have strangled the person next to me or behind me, or in front of me. Those days I would have paid anything to be seated with someone that was cheering for the same team as me.

Heck Highlands only has 3 home games this year.

A question I do have is do all the proceeds from the football season tickets go to just football or like most schools (I'm quessing) do the proceeds benefit all sports?

Trust me, I pic and choose very carefully what I will spend my money on.

Hey, just think how much someone spends a year to play golf, I choose to spend it on football. I wouldn't mind playing golf, I think it is a nice relaxing sport however, I would rather spend my money on football.

Paying $600 for 4 games isn't still for the love of the game. At least not for the administration.

Are they buying these because there are none available at the games or is this for preffered seating. If it is due to selling out every game then for "Bear Bryants" sake, build bigger bleachers.

"Supply and Demand" More bleachers= more seating= more available tickets= cheaper tickets=which means a lower bottom dollar for the school.

This school's (Southlake Carroll) unofficial motto "Dominate in everything from Academics to debate team to Athletics".

By the way this school is very top notch in academics and other sports. They have divided their 11 & 12 graderrs into one school and the 9 & 10 graders into another building. I feel that this a great way of starting a new school when you town's population out grows a school building. Imagine how some of these counties who have made new schools would be better (i.e.= Bullitt, Oldham, Laurel, etc.) in all aspects.
