I was wondering what he did on 17. Disappointing to have a great round going and bogey a hole like 17. He needs to figure out a way to stay away from the left side there. Still good that he is in position to win going into the weekend and possibly in the final group on Saturday. Hope he gets lots of coverage tomorrow.

He's now -6 for the tourney at the turn and in a tie for 3rd.

I know its a stretch because both will have killer first round games, but what kind of crowd could we have on Friday night at Rupp with a possible 9th vs. 10th showdown, and the 11th region almost guaranteed to be playing that night as well?

Wed and Thurs should only yield a couple of good games, but Fri and Sat are setup for some great action. The last three games Fri, and all three games Sat should be dandies.

What has happened to Marshall Co? Why aren't they being mentioned? I don't think the 16th could have beaten anyone in the first round except for the 15th.

I don't think it was just because Fleming went to the state tournament. I believe there were a couple other factors that were very publicized at the time.

I agree on Brossart but why couldn't they beat the Grove?

Should be a heckuva game between the two that don't draw Mason in the district.

We've been over this 100 times. Lex Cath played Scott Co. the night before Ashland at home in front of a packed house and won. This obviously took a tremendous amount of energy from them to beat their dreaded rival. The next night they played Ashland in Frankfort in front of nobody. Very hard to come back after the Scott Co. game. If they played again I think the result would be different.

Agreed. Etown/Scott Co. will be one great final.

Has Mason beaten anyone they weren't supposed to beat?

I'm sure Reitz showed Scott a lot knowing that he would have to beat them to get out of the district. :thumb:

I would have to think our other three districts are very pleased with this draw.

So when these two do meet in the district game, the loser plays Holmes in the postseason and the winner plays Cov Cath?

That was my whole point but I guess you missed it. Everyone is going to beat up on each other so you can't base someone's position in a poll on one game. You must look at the entire season as a whole.

Morgan beat Boyd, so how can you justify Boyd over Morgan? It will be like this the rest of the year now that everyone has gotten into regional play.

I could easily see Biggs leaving Pendleton but not b/c the community would force him out!

So if Franklin Co. wins its final district game then it will be Franklin Co/Frankfort and Woodford Co/Western Hills in the district tourney, correct?

Hopefully the people that were at the game will know just how funny that statement was. :laugh:

Why would Nicholas Co. and Deming vote to seed and have to play either Harrison or Pendleton. This way at least there is a chance they draw each other and one of them goes to the regional.

Who is to stay he couldn't have punched the right buttons against PRP and done more? We will never know.
