9th and 10th region coaches on the HOT SEAT?????

Featured Replies

Who would you expect to resign or get the AX? Any surprises?

I could easily see Biggs leaving Pendleton but not b/c the community would force him out! ;)

Do high school coaches get fired?

To answer your question for the 9th: None are on the hot seat.

I don't think that I can remember a 9th region coach losing their job for not winning.

No HS coach is fired in the public eyes. But coaches are forced out behind the scenes.

Winning coaches are forced out at times.....Football too. :sssh:

Check with Danny Sullivan at Campbell Co a few years ago..... he got a raw deal.

Its almost always a political thing. Look at the Yeagle Debacle at Beechwood in football. Then you have some coaches who stick around for 20 yrs and never win more than 10 games a year.....counting the days til they finally hit 200 wins....

Most are just like old hound dogs. They just wander off into the woods and die before anyone has to have them put to sleep.

Dan did get a very raw deal. Dan is a very good coach and he has one very important thing that a lot of today's coaches don't have, and that is basketball knowledge.

Is it just me or does this thread feel like evil just for the sake of being evil? I'm sorry that I entered. No crushed toes intended. I must go now. On to more fun positive discussions. Buh-Bye

That's funny. You obviously do not know the whole story. It was far from a raw deal that's for sure.
