I am sure the Camel leadership is just waiting for the opportunities to accomidate the desires of the Ft. Thomas program.:sleep: I think it was the Highlands program that stiffed armed the Camels schedule in years past - twice. No need to go down that road for a third time for quite awhile.

Great results from coaches who actually become hands on in their fields! You can also tell they do research on field related items and materials. Just like students in a classroom, if the coach goes out and prepares hard the results will be very clear! Great job and good example for others to learn from.

Do as I say.....not as I do! No... nothing wrong with that! But with you and others in the community talking about it should send a fairly clear message about support and respect, none of which this teacher will probably not enjoy going forward. Would not really want to consider this teacher's opinion on too many things.

This will be one of the smartest hires in the area. Wayne is the real deal and is excellent. He did things with noting to work with at Silver Grove. Wayne will be a 24/7 baseball guy for Boone and will have them contending rather quickly. Other schools failed to take advantage of this guy and they will regret it.

Imagine that! A high school coach who spends his off season time working with his kids to get better! And the results that it produces. One would think others could take notice or at least take lessons.:sleep: Congrats to Coach Whitaker. He has consistently put his program and players in a position to win and to get better, not for him but for his players. That is why the award is well deserved.

Ken Wilfong's curve and then his fast ball was simply overpowering. I believe his ERA during his junior/senior year were off the charts. Jim Minshall from NewCath may have been the most intimidating. 6'-5" in 1966 with a mid 90 fast ball.

John "Steak and Shake" Schlarman did a great job and Chad "What is a Steak and Shake" Scott was great too!

More kids play who happen to be students in Campbell County Schools sounds like a great feeder program. Why should they play second :banana: to an outside program? Especially when one of its leaders seems very bent on discounting efforts to get more kids involved in Camel football. Perhaps that is why the CCYFL is being defended more than it is complained about.

All I can say to this silly commentary is the ones who are involved and using the field are very pleased with its condition. Things have improved, as one post said best in 20 years. You on the other hand have some personal animosity that is really not shared by all the people you reference. Fact is, things are getting done and better than they have ever been. As for yourself, your really not involved in anything and your loyalty is not even with the Camels. Motive is a serious question here. As for coaches who were fired, hey if you want Corson back hire him.

Is the field material in question nylon or polypropylene. Nylon will residue into lead. Polypropylene will not. I bet the fields in question are nylon. Any field made of nylon will probably have to deal with this issue.

C Squared you are the one with the agenda. That is very clear. You are trying to make it out to players. Try understanding the posts. It is stating very clearly the coaching or lack of such going on by at least one paid coach. I will ask you straight up. Is it OK in your mind for a coach who accepted the position to never attend any preseason workout, weight training, condiditioning, tryouts, practices and games and then just show up. Does not matter what the story is. Is it acceptable in your mind. That is a fairly easy question and a major point in this entire thread. Not asking if it is OK with the head coach because it seems to be OK, I am asking YOU is this an OK thing to do? And Buford you seem to think this is just a handful of incidents. It is a handful and that is the number of times showing up, NOT MISSING. Get the facts straight.
