The two teams that advance from every district are in opposite sides of the bracket for the regional. Therefore, Holmes and CCH couldn't meet in the regional until the finals.
Everyone was hitting it further all week long. Many times on the telecast you could hear players saying the ball was traveling esp. far. Plus, he prob only had to carry that shot about 225-230. Take into account the ball traveling a good ways, and probably a little extra bend on that 4 iron and it doesn't seem SO unrealistic.
I believe the question was could they win the region. Could they beat Pendleton at home, maybe? Can they beat Brossart, Clark, Mason, at Mason, I doubt it.
Not so sure about that. You've got Brossart, Pendleton, Mason, and Clark, all who should be district winners. After that I believe there is a significant drop off and those four should be playing on Friday night in the semis. Should be an interesting night of basketball if it all plays out like it should.
Only if the regional tourney has been moved to Harrison. Looks like the Breds are a totally different team at home vs. on the road. More so than most teams.
