Gator Fan 41041 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Shows how close Fleming can be, beating #6 Rowan, and leading against #5 Elliott for much of the game.

Tubby's Best Friend Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Need to get this back to the front page after Elliotts win over Morgan in West Liberty. Where do we go now? Fairview may deserve the top spot with a 16-3 record and those 3 loses coming to teams with a combined record of 42-14.

Why would Fairview moved ahead of Boyd?? The only game in the 16th that Boyd has lost was to Morgan, so Boyd has to be number 1 now.
Cubster Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 Do not fret, the Cubster will have it all figured by Sunday night.

Morgan beat Boyd, so how can you justify Boyd over Morgan? It will be like this the rest of the year now that everyone has gotten into regional play.
Cubster Posted January 26, 2006 Author Posted January 26, 2006 January is a tough month for the Cubster's poll just like college hoops are for AP voters. Lots of in-region defeats and strange Tuesday night in January scores. I will decipher the scores and come up with another accurate, or inaccurate to some, poll come Sunday night.
Caveman Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Fairview may deserve the top spot with a 16-3 record and those 3 loses coming to teams with a combined record of 42-14. Morgan three losses have come to teams with a combined 41-12 record and they have defeated Fairview and Boyd.
BigCat23 Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Correct me if i'm wrong Fairview has lost to Morgan, Elliott, and Boyd. Are these Polls based on regional play only? Just wondering. If so I can't see how it would change anything.
spindoc Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I agree with the Cubster on the poll, and I think he feels like he has just baited a hook when he clicks on "start new thread". The feeding frenzy that follows is quite predictable and entertaining. Same arguments from same folks about same stuff. :argue:
Shoeshine Boy Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Russell is gonna be the team to beat in Morehead - mark it down!
Caveman Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Russell is gonna be the team to beat in Morehead - mark it down! They'll have a good shot at it but I still think I'll save my markers for a little later on. Seems like every time I mark something down I forget where I put it.

But what would you guys have to talk about if I come here and say every week: I agree with Cub, Good Poll :dancingpa . That isnt any fun. The whole idea of preps is to incite the crowd. I never said Fairview should be number 1 just said may be. Food for thought, food for thought.
