What is wrong the schedule?

From the KHSAA website: Summer Dead Period Students may not receive coaching or training from school personnel and school facilitiesuniforms, nicknames, transportation or equipment shall not be used each year in any KHSAA sanctioned sport or cheerleading squad during the period beginning with June 25, and going through July 9. School funds may not be expended in support of interscholastic athletics in any KHSAA sanctioned sport during this period. These restrictions shall not apply to postseason wrapup activities, celebrations and recognition events relating to a spring sports team at a school which participated in KHSAA state championship play in that particular sport during that particular sitting in the nether regions of a ball park away from the game is not a violation

\ No it is not true. Coach M was a catcher in the Lloyd program and by his own words caught because it was the only way he could play. His talent level never was as high as his love for the game.

Typical dumb KHSAA thinking MONEY first, last and always.

Absolutely right, That is why once in a while you see a Beechwood or a Heath in the championship for a year but overall the bigger schools come back much more often.

Amen:ylsuper:

51 for th Raiders plays with a lot of heart!!!

A.J. Smith Beechwood to Murray State

A great human being will be missed. My sympathies to his family.

That is why you don't coach.

You can't discuss SOS until the season is over, (nobody, no matter how well informed they think they are) know how good the quality of schedule teams play ntil the season concludes. It is all speculation and guess work this early in the year.

So the counter argument then is just because your JV team has good success doesn't mean the same success at the varsity level because many teams don't have their best JV eligible players playing on the JV team?

Especially if they are cooked and smothered in mustard:ylsuper:

Want to big games in KY sports be friends with Jullian Tackett, he will see to it you get there.

It still comes down to the almighty $$$$$$$$$$$. The KHSAA has not nor never will make any decision that does not benefit the bottom line. Dollars is what it will always be about.

Atlanta Braves obtained OF Josh Anderson from the Houston Astros in exchange for RHP Oscar Villarreal.

Traded to the Braves. Expected to replace Andruw Jones in CF?

Cody Elliott signs Monday Nov.19 @2:00

The final score last game (last month) was Beechwood 48 - Bellevue 14. My only question to the fans that think Bellevue can win this game is where are the 35 points going to come from that are needed for a Bellevue win? Has the Bellevue defense improved so drastically that they will be able to hold Beechwood to 13 points and provided the offense can score 14 again pull off the upset? Or is the Bellevue offense up to putting 49 points on the board? Reallistically speaking it would have to be a combination of both, so what formula are you going to use to get the upset?

Beechwood won't even have 8 seniors on their team. At various thimes last season They started 2 sophomores or 2 freshmen or 2 8th graders. The most that will start for the Tigers is 5 Elliott, Miller, Gohs, Morris, and maybe Williams, Hadden will also pitch that is the whole senior class. This is on the assumption that Bankemper will not be returning.

All other rhetoric aside it still comes down to the money. A sad commentary on high school sports

KHSAA is interested in one thing and 1 thing only:$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
