Belfry Wins

Louisville for the turf. But I do like Comonwealth. I just think its a nice stadium and I love the grass there. I love attending game at UK but Louisville is nice also. I do like UK's the best but agree Papa Johns is better suited for the state finals.

I like the turf but I like the grass also so it dont really matter. Which ever one the shcool wants.

Belfry had 3 players out for this game including Chapman. Their Uncle passed away in the mining accident so keep them in your prayers. I am impressed though Belfry gave them all they wanted without a huge arm and a big bat. West is a good guy and a good pitcher. Glad to see him do well. This Belfry team is very young.

Pikeville didnt play their good guys much this game. It was a sad game. I guess it was were Atlantic was new and stuff they were so bad. I know Trinity or St X would have beat them this year. Pikeville could have beat them 100 points easily.

Some cases. Did anyone see the team Pikeville College opened with this year? It was their first year witha team and they were so sad. I talked to Doug and he said Belfry would have beat them easily much less the bigger teams. They couldnt even snap the ball to the punter. But it defintley is a rare thing to see college teams that week.

Congrats. Im excited to see them come to Belfry and play here soon. Blanton is a good ball player.

Its Monday. Well its 12 am so it is today. Yeah Belfry has a tuff game on their hand. Belfry is good though but they are still young. Aaron Chapman is really tuff to beat though and Christ West is pitching well also. So who knows. By the end of the year though this Belfry team will be hard to beat.

Elkhorn City was the team form the 15th that came to me. They defintley always had a great team. East Ridge has been good about every year but I think they could be for a down year this year.

So we arent doing the Morehead scrimage this year? Or could that be the Hazard scrimage? I enjoyed that one always.

I was there and I will agree some of the bad Feds Creek teams could have mercied this team. Coach Hagey even asked their coach to call the game but he wouldnt. By the way their coach is Hoffman which is explanation enuff to why they are bad. The guy is a joke, he is the one that caused an uproar at Tug Valley Wv because of how bad of a football coach he was. He even told the football players to turn and run if the player was bigger and he wanted to run a 5-5 defense lol. Now I say how can you avoid running up the score when you play 8th graders swing at wild pitches and stop everyone one base at a time?

He did it back when I was there we ran a wide open offense because we had a excellent QB to show it off. I dont know though if he will run shot gun or not this year though. It might be a little more open than usualy because we have some good recievers. But our 2 Rb that is returning plays baseball though so that might be why also. I trust him though whatever he does.

Prestobburg has a nice history and fanbase but I do like Pikevilles facilities better but I do like Pburgs bleachers. They have alot more room than Pikeville. But the state championships gets them my vote.

The best one was when they had the fan cam on them and they were all cheering but making no noise haha. The boxing one sounded awesome, what was the roller coaster?

If the 15th Region appointed the refs that wasnt very good to run the shot clock, then wed have nobody to call the game because theyd all be running the shot clock lol.

The percentages will go up im sure. Alot of it was just nerves playing in a place like that for the first time and the rims probably dont give like the ones most schools are use to. Bu the Globetrotters shot pretty well on them haha.

That 1-2-2 kills us. We was leaving shooters open all over the court. But atleast we did get the win. We also shot the ball very poorly. How many threes did we end up with? I know it wasnt many.

I dont think Valley has the upper hand in the post. Belfry has some serious size down low and will be ok. We have Bowman and Steele both tall and strong. I think Steele is 6'4 and Bowman might be the same. Then we have May who can go down low. Also we have Reed nd Warren who comes off the bench and can mix it up well down low. Reed can get some serious rebounds and does very well underneath. The game against Pburg was one downlow.

Notice they got beat by everyone of these teams on the road but beat them at home. HMMMMM they were 9 and 1 at home and 1 and 17 on the road lol let that speak for its self.

Belfry and Magoffin are both excellent teams and IF that match up takes place it will be a good game. But the boys have showed one thing so far and that is dont look ahead.

IMO they didnt beat the best team in the Region tonight but oh well. But honestly Paintsville is well coached but is way to small and that costed them. But Belfry has some real good size so that will not work well for them. I like Valley and if we was to loose Id want to see them win it. But Im taking Belfry 72 to 58 pulling away on foul shots at the end. But one thing weve learned already is anything can happen

Yeah they do contract it out and the organization that works it gets a percentage. Atleast we are helping someone when we get ripped off haha. I know for Disney on Ice the Belfry Baseball team raised money a night by working the concessions. As far as the idea for the tournament goes its wonderful and deffintley needs to stay there. Also Pikeville is a nice central locationw ith plenty of nice restaurants and things to that nature.

Yeah Belfry played pooryly the first game and came out with the win. So if Belfry shows up the way they should then they will be ok. Maynard and Case is the best 2 players on the court in this game. But Pburg is a great team and Belfry better come to play. Good luck Pirates.

Rusell will be tuff. But dont count out Belfry both will be better than this year. I think Belfry will get back to the carpet this year but who knows. Alot of season is left to be played befroe any team can really start thinking about that.

Good win for Phelps considering one of their best ball players was out with a sprained ankle. Good luck to Phelps in the all A I hope you guys go to state.

They did play much better in the second half. And I agree with press I dont know of any varsity players we have from WV. But if we do you will get over it. Who is up next press? Rose Hill I think?
