This was an exciting game to watch. Belfry jumped out early 5-0, but the Rebels finally showed some life battling back and putting together a string of hits. West started for Belfry giving them many good innings while Hammonds made the start for the Rebs. He went 2 innings, then Turner went 2, Music 2 and Kidd closed it out for the save.

Belfry had 3 players out for this game including Chapman. Their Uncle passed away in the mining accident so keep them in your prayers. I am impressed though Belfry gave them all they wanted without a huge arm and a big bat. West is a good guy and a good pitcher. Glad to see him do well. This Belfry team is very young.
