  1. I was told that the big noseguard broke his leg and still hasn't recovered, I'm sorry to hear that, he was a big ole boy.
  2. One thing is they had Valley and Central playing other schools for a couple years and they got killed every year. I mean no offense to them but neither is on the level to play those teams and draw the big crowd. Valley is getting closer. But another reason why scheduling is so hard is due to gas and they are so many bowl games now that it seems like everybody plays in a bowl.
  3. The Valle/East Ridge and Belfry/HC game is at Valley on Friday night.
  4. Sad thing is I really want to pull for the UK guys, but I mean I simply can't stand the person above that you quoted. And I'm not bad to be like that twoards players, but I am him.
  5. Yeah I knew of several teams not wanting to play them for whatever reason, but I don't know if they contacted Rock. I never heard if they did. But I would really really like that game.
  6. I got a friend in the one in Jeffersonville, I will email her and see what she can tell me.
  7. I talked with somebody who was at the press conference today, I knew they was there and phoned them. They said that the decision was made right before media day began and he told his players after they took the team picture. My thought and their thought to was what could grades factor into this? Weren't they released yesterday?
  8. By the way Boom just to tell you how bad both communities are for football, I wasn't even born at the time and remember stuff from the game lol.
  9. Yeah, Highlands like to get the other team to gather on the field and blow the cannon off for intimidation purposes. Belfry wasn't going out on the field until after Highlands came out.
  10. Yeah Hoopz is pretty cool. She dated "Bo" Jackson I believe, who played for the Miners. Brain freeze right now but I believe that was the guy she dated. She was very faitful fan of the Miners and a pretty cool girl. Ohh yeah she was cute to, not that I noticed.
  11. I wished Belfry could get a stronger schedule, but in their offense they tried, but you cant force teams to play you. I dont understand why teams wouldnt jump at the opportunity to play such a qualitly opponent like Belfry. I can understand teams a great distance away. But look at a team like PBurg. If they would have scheduled Belfry the last two years, it would have benifited them probably more than it would have Belfry. The competition would be as strong or stronger than any team they faced in the playoffs. Not even to metnion the gate the game brings. I'm not throwing stones at one team, but that is just a team that came to mind that Belfry tried to get a game with.
  12. 1. Billy Madison - One of my fav movies ever. 2. Happy Gillmore - Another great movie. 3. Big Daddy - Another good moviie. 4 - Chuck and Larry - I didnt think I would like this movie, but it was hillarious. 5. Mr. Deeds -He has had a slew of great movies, but this one is a movie I enjoy over and over.
  13. I go frequently but never really recall people smoking in my section, now drinking that is another story lol.
  14. I wasn't happy with the hire at first, but the coaches they brought in under him, including the one in waiting makes me feel better about the hire.
  15. I watched Walls play at Marshall in a few games this past season. He would be a great walk on addition. He has a very nice shot and gives it his all. He is fairly athletic as well.
  16. With more possible depth upfront on the defensive line than linebacker, look for Corey Coleman to move to linebacker. I really think Belfry will have to make that move, but Coleman is the kind of kid who can play anywere.
  17. I agree 100 percent here. Clinton was no means my favorite president, and NAFTA IMO is the worse part of his term, I think economy still feels the affect of it today.
  18. It will never be moved from Pikeville period. Because the bank towers behind it and is great advertisement. But I have no problem with that one its logic. I wished since they took it out of Belfry they would atleast put Belfry and Pikeville together on same night.
  19. Made my weekend because I am as much of a WVU fan as a UK fan. But I will admit, I didn't think they would do it. Good job and get those couches burning.
  20. Everybody is right in better tema won, but Kentucky playe well. Crawford really has stepped up, just a shame it tookt him 3 1/2 years to play like he has been capable of since he has been at Uk. Two keys to the game, which was already mentioned, speed and rebounding. Marquette used their speed to get the baseline several times, which is a no no in basketball. One thing I hope improves this summer is free throw shooting of Jasper. I believe that would improve his game so much. For exapmple in the final minute Kentucky was down five, and Jasper tried to force it to Bradley or Crawford adn hit Bradley in the head. I believe if he knew he could shoot some foul shots he would be a lot quicker in taking the ball to the basket. Overall though great season, and these guys played hard and I got to respect that.
  21. I watch the Eers often, and they are truly a big man away from beating Duke. I just dont think guard play and shooting could get it done, but you never know. West Virginia is decent in size but not muscle.
  22. Well if you want to throw stones lol. But hey atleast we wasn't the only one that got upended. But its ok you will have nice bragging rights in a few days, because I like UK and WVU, I just hope my boys from Morgantown loses to Zona haha. As for UK, I think maybe a first round win, but it is a toss up.
  23. They beat the SEC Champs on the road. Geez what more do you want. :dancingpa
  24. Although I will agree Pearl COY hands down, and he is being a homer for saying different, I have to ask did you see some of these guys last year compared to this season? They defiantley play a lot harder this season.
