Belfry Wins

It really does mean Belfry was the better team guys. SC 20 LC 19. Belfry 47 SC 7. That is way to big of a difference to even argue.

Belfry dont run up the scores or pad the stats neither. So our stats arent padded. We have had several games were our backs hardly touch the ball. Belfry has a soldid rushing attack to dont doubt it. It will be a great ball game.

NO SC flag was ran up the tunnel and stuff also and the whole thing was started by them running on Belfrys side with the SC flag. That is just asking for trouble. Belfrys couple of fans shouldnt have done what they did neither but it was two sided.

Yeah but Belfry has played some tuff games though Pikeville was a very good team. Also they played Ironton tuff which is saying alot and Henry Clay was a big game which noone can beat. SC isnt a bad team neither they had a hug line. But I agree I see Belfry grinding this out ina very close game. Im already excited about it.

You really could make a good case for anyone of these teams left I think. But Im sure pulling for Belfry I think their big game experience will pull them through. I know allt he teams ahve that expereionece but Belfry has had plenty of it winning 2 championships and I really seen them turn up the intensity this week which I havent seen alot this year, so that is a very great sign.

Hawood or McGLone either one would be deserving of votes. They both lost alot of talent and are back again fighting for state championship. Id give my vote to the winner of the game between the 2 great coaches. So Id give my vote to Coach Haywood haha JK. Also if HC was to beat Trinity their Coach would deffintley have to be considered. Another one is NCC, didnt their coach set the all time win record for state and go over 300 wins tonight? Now that is impressive.

I figured Rock would win I feel they got a bad call the first game to cause them to loose. Also werent they pretty banged up the first game. The Rock is just on a roll. Good luck against LC.

I really have no clue. I just hope the winner plays Belfry. I really dont know alot about these teams this year. Can someone give some info on both teams. I know Ocath had a good team last year and they were a very classy bunch of kids.

I got to vote for Belfry but every team left is good or they wouldnt be there. I take it from the post that Desales runs the ball. What is O Cath offense like this year. I know they lost a great QB and havent read alot about them this year.

They are country boys fed well lol. The line this year is a mixture they have some big ones but not as big as last couple years. But they are very physcial still and controlled the line of scrimage against a big line. Congrats Pirates one more to state! I know you guys can do it!

Congrats on the win. Now all us Belfry people will be rolling into town for an exciting team. I was pulling for Russell because of the two teams great past and because the drive isnt as long haha. But congrats on the win see you guys in a week.

Belfry maybe arogant but we back it up pretty well as far as to the fans not from SC saying we are atleast we are playing. I say 35 to 12 Pirates. SC wont just roll over and play dead. But Belfry players are ready to go.

I wonder which side Coach Matney will set on? Everyone knows he will be at this game. I also would like to hear his prediction not that it matters would just be interesting. THis should be a great game though Im sure everyone is excited.

Im not suprised with were SC is at Iexpected them to beat Leslie and they are a better team than the frist time we played them. A key that people seems to forget is we are also. The frist time we played SC we played with no emotion and didnt play a very well football game. Well I believe things will be didferent this game and Belfry will come out and play with passion and hunger which we havent seen alot this year.

Nope beacause they are expecting all the Belfry fans to be there rocking and celebrating for sports overtime. It is not a bad matchup to choose I mean like you said Belfry is 2 time state champs. Also its in the new stadium which Im sure helped them in their decision also. I mean its just an excellent place for a football game.

He didnt did he? He could be holing back or do you think he was concerned about the speed of Middlesboro. But it would have worked to have tried it. Maybe he is holing back. I dont really question him like alot of fans do. I trust him prety well hes earned all the Belfry fans repsect and they are showing it alot more after the last 2 years. I think we will def. see the sweep more this week though with SC D-line being bigger and their team speed being slower.

1998 defintley wont have nothing to do with this game. For one that was a long time ago and no players that plays on this team was on that team. This SC team is better than the time we played first time but so is this Belfry team. Belfry just has to come out this game and play hard. I really look for Belfry to play with intensity this game and play with emotion. I felt we played like that against Prestonburg and Pikeville but that is about it. So if Belfry steps it up with intensity and get hungry for a win we will be ok.

This is going to be a battle I talked to some coaches already and they said this is going to be war. They said SC is a much better team than the first game we played them and they will drive that int he players head all week. Belfry is improved to. As far as the crowd goes the players were getting frustrated Friday night with the fans. They were waving their hands begiing the crowd to get into it but noone really did. I guarantee you SC will be rocking on their side and excited so Belfry needs to step up with the fans support and rock the place. That really does get the players up knowing that the fans are behind them all the way.

I felt last Belfry game against SC they played ok but not real great. They didnt play with alot of intensity. But I have talked to alot of the guys and they arent overlooking SC and they are pumped up and ready to play which is a good sign. Belfry respects SC and their fans have pulled for them all the way but I feel the better team is Belfry and they will prevail. But they better not come out thinking they have it won. This should be a fun week leading up to the game. Two teams that respect each other for regional championship. What more could we ask for?

Belfry is still in it so its obvious Im still cheering hard for them in 2a. But Ill try the rest of the classes. 4a Henry Clay - They beat us so Im def for them. 3a- Bell Co.- Gotta cheer for the mountain team. 1a- Paintsville but if they loose Ill be there for Somerset.
