Great win Phelps! It took everyone by surprise. You won't be overlooked anymore imo. Hope Charlie Hunt returns for you soon. Does anyone know how long he might be out.

Did SV have a timeout at the end of the game in OT? If so, why didn't coach Booher use it? SV didn't get a shot off as it looked like nobody wanted to take it in the end.

 

Gannon is the best player you've never heard of in the 15th Region. Charlie Hunt was out, Phelps played a two-man game with Gannon outside and Mikey Dotson inside.

Sad isnt it. Dorton and Virgie have the best junior high programs around. It is odd to me that most of Virgie's players dont finish high school. I know Logan Bryant, Justin Bryant, Elijah and Jonah Justice all went to Dorton.

Gannon is a great kid and a good basketball player. If he worked on baseball he would be phenominal. Congrats as I know many of the Phelps kids and they are a class act.

No offense but it's just one bad season...I can almost guaruntee you that they'll be right back up in a year or two..Most schools go through a rebuilding process, and they lost 3 of the regions top 5 players from last year...

How is it rebuilding when you return two starters and three players that saw plenty of action? It doesn't matter how much talent you have bad coaching will destroy it. If Booher is there in two years they will be no better.
