You do realize that only one team wins their last game every year. Saying the postseason hasn't been kind to him and then listing all the years when he got beat. Every team loses at the end of the year, but one. Looks like his teams win around 70% of the time. That is pretty good in my book.

Why do people try to make a big deal about kids age. You all do realize that about half the students graduate high school at age 19 or with 3 months of turning 19. He might be 6 months older than the average age of all graduates in the 2021 class. Just enjoy his and every other kids abilities and quit trying to take away from their excellence.

The thing everyone has to remember about school districts and open enrollment is that the state funds schools based on Daily attendance. If school districts lose students to other school districts they lose money and would have a hard time staying open. Kenton County has open enrollment but the money coming from the state is staying in the same school system. Just something to think about when having this discussion.

I heard Mark Cuban's comments the other day about tanking after they were eliminated from playoff consideration. It bothers me that any team would deliberately not be all in on winning every game they play. However, I understand the benefit of having a better draft position. After thinking about this, I came up with a unique idea. Any fantasy league that I have ever played in has always snaked the draft. This helps to keep balance and gives all teams a chance on draft day. What if: All pro leagues snaked their drafts? What are the Pro's and Con's of doing this? Would it work in all leagues? Does it help eliminate tanking?

I have been a Suarez fan since day one. I also like Duvall. The fact that they are both cheap and young makes them even more likeable. The future is bright.

I am going to be honest. I don't see him playing overseas and getting paid a lot. What do teams want from American players? Size, great shooters??? What does he do that would get a fan base to root for him? He isn't worth paying a whole lot in a foreign country.

You might be right about playing overseas. He will not make as good as money as we all think though. Think about the travel to play overseas, the taxes, the other issues with living in another country. If I was him and had a chance to get paid to play, i would probably do the same thing. I was just stating that he has no chance of playing in the NBA.

Why do students want to go to an old run down building when they can go to new schools in new buildings with state of the art teaching?

He has no chance of making the NBA. I hope I am wrong saying that though! His game does not translate. He is not explosive, doesn't handle the ball great, can't shoot. What does he do well? All he does is attack the rim strong! I am sorry, but at 6'3 in the NBA that will not work. He is not a high flyer either so that will not help him on drives. He has no shot of playing in the NBA, he needs to get his diploma.

I have a t-shirt from the 1988 state tournament that I still wear from time to time. That shirt has been through a lot. Also, I have a suit that my grandpa and grandma bought for me in 1993 when I was graduating college and was preparing for interviews. I still have the suit and wear it for important occasions. It is my way of honoring them and all they did for me!

I am glad the refs called fouls the 2nd half. I wish they would call fouls like this every game until teams stopped fouling. You can call 2 or 3 fouls on every trip right now because players are taught to bump, pull, grab, and hold on defense. There is no freedom of movement and that is why the game is so horribly played. The game is about strength now and not about skill and we wonder why kids can't shoot. Watch a shooter moving without the ball and see how many times, he gets checked, held, and grabbed before finally getting the ball.

I know that everyone has been blowing the officials up about letting the players get a flow, but how are the refs supposed to allow teams to push, pull, and hang on each other the whole game long. I still believe that if refs would call like this for about a month, it would clean the game up and then we could see the real skill level of the players! KEEP CALLING FOULS until they stop playing this way and coaches quit coaching this way!! Also, my prediction on the game NC 73-69 was pretty darn close.

Briscoe can not play in the NBA. He gets a running start because the other team doesn't guard him and then overpowers small guards. In the NBA they will guard him and be as strong as him. He will never make a roster full time in the NBA. Hope I am wrong, but he doesn't impress me at all.
