[h=2][/h]SO came to Anderson County in late January and just got ran out of the gym.

 

SO folks, what happened that game? Tell me why I should wait until tomorrow to buy state tournament tickets.

Yikes. I though South would win comfortably, but not by this much. 3 out of 4 years going to Rupp is certainly impressive, especially since I'm pretty sure 4 years ago was their first ever trip to Rupp. Now I'd like to see them win one for the 8th. They got a pretty favorable draw but the 8th Region hasn't won a game at state since 2012.

Congratulations to Coach Simpson. Just gets it done. Terrific coach and a better person. Just happy for the kids. Great bunch. Good luck next week.

Apparently tonight's score in the 8th Region final was the biggest margin of victory since 1933, when Horse Cave beat Burksville 53-9.

The way SO played tonight they have a shot @ winning more than a game next week. They go 8-9 deep and all can shoot, cut, drive, pass. Are they all seniors or what grades are they in? If they return guys they will be real dangerous again next year.

Coach Drury was hilarious at the 5:30 mark in the 4th quarter he gets up 5 subs and yelled down to Coach Simpson and the South Oldham bench and waived a white towel, and then sends his subs up to check in. I had never seen that is was great!
