I would say no to the upset question. Just Ryle's coach in over his head once again - out coached plain and simple!!! Up 4 less than a minute and stayed in a full court pressure D that was giving up lay ups the whole evening. And as everyone knows you WILL NOT get a call playing at Grant County as at one point in second half foul count was Ryle 9 GC 1...........enough said when they play that game in Union Ryle wins by 20.

I by no means am a Grant County fan, but Ryle was probably fouling more if the count was 9 to 1. It's not the refs job to even up the count if one team is fouling more than the other. It doesn't have to be equal.

Completely agree. The foul count has nothing to do with the referees. It has everything to do with one team being more disciplined than the other. I know everyone wants to talk about conspiracy theories that the refs are treating one team better than the other, no they're not. Do they miss one or two calls a game, yeah they're human, but if the foul count is 9-1 it simply means that Ryle was fouling WAY more than GC. I wasn't at the game, but I'm just tired of hearing that argument played out over and over again. The foul count doesn't have to be equal, because both teams rarely foul evenly.

I agree that foul count does not matter, but to say that there are no homer calls is ridiculous.

You make it sound like the refs were from Grant County. Player to Player Ryle should be better but looking at the line score looks like some of Ryle's players didn't bring their A game and Grant outplayed them. Early in the season, nice win for Coach Utter and the Braves

In 2015-16 college season, the average officiating crew called 2.2 more fouls per game on the visitors than the home team. You were more right than you knew.

Really,you lose one game early on the road in overtime and it's bad coaching. Amazing
