Why change now?

The issue is not the kids.

Someone in a facebook post replied to someone else asking the same question as you. This is the response that was given: the principal Mike Wilson is the one behind this, he’s the one that told Coach Sullivan that he doesn’t have a sense of urgency to change the “culture” in his program and therefore he needs to resign or he will be non-renewed once the season is over, including his entire coaching staff. And Mr Wilson he also told him to keep that quiet.

I know how it works. Thanks captain! Very few people are going to sit there all day, and those that would you'd more than make up for any ticket sales at the concession stand.

Why not just play 4 straight games?

I think this was the case regardless of who won the 40th tonight. The bad in this is one of the other 3 district champs opens the regionals with GRC. But you were going to have go through them to get to Rupp regardless.

IMO, risk of injury. Sure injuries happen in basketball & it's a contact sport. But it's not the collision sport that football is.

This! Not high school, or even football, but when I was asked years ago to put together a baseball team for an organization when my son was 8. The head of the organization and I sat down and he said "If you do this, you have to want the exact same success for the other kids on the team, that you want for your son".

I think you are too focused on the "at all", instead of the whole sentence. But I see where you are coming from. Everybody wants to win. Everybody prepares to win. But everybody also knows, only one team wins (unless its futbol ?). As everyone in here is aware, winning & losing are part of life. Every kid needs to learn to handle both. I've seen many that can't handle either. Find out they like to win, but hate to lose.

Happened up here in NKY in the past year or 2. Played for Campbell County one week; Cooper the next. Might have been 1 game in between, but I'm pretty sure it was back to back. There was a "change of address".

Just wanted to take a moment to Thank @nWo for all the updates over the winter. Hopefully you are finished with those and we don't see too much craziness over the spring/summer months.

Bristol is a fantastic place to watch a race. Sit higher up at the start finish line or opposite the SFL. You can see all the action from corner to corner with little to no head turn. Same in the corners, sat here the last time I went. "IF" you go to Bristol, take or rent a scanner, as once they say "start your engines", you're really not talking to the person next to you. LOL

Carson has been having a great couple weeks. I swear he needs an ice bath after every game from the beating he takes.
