Here is a look at the 2025 Schedule thanks to NASCAR on NBC.  I know there are a few changes for 2025 and I plan on getting into that later. 

Time for the Chicago street race to go like the dirt at Bristol......away.
Not a fan of Mexico City, but will hold judgment until after the race.

I read somewhere of a suggestion for the "playoffs" that I kind of liked. 

One was, the regular season champ to the "finals", makes consistency in the 1st 26 races mean something. Puts 5 in the championship round.
The other was the Round of 16 is 1 or 2 races, and the "championship" then becomes 2 or 3 races.

I think NASCAR has a couple too many non-traditional races but the Chicago Street Race is one of my favorites.  I love the circuit and the race has been great.  And they can't put dirt all over the streets of Chicago, lol.

What are they doing in Mexico City, is it the same thing F1 races on or something different?

I like the regular season champ in the finals and I agree that would be a good thing.  The regular season championship should count for something big.

I can definitely see taking at least one race away from the Round of 16 and donating it to the finals.  The season is so long and that one race determines so much.

Haven’t heard anything on this other than they are racing there in 2025.  Honestly haven’t really looked for info either.

Bored on a Monday morning & went searching for information on the Mexico City track.

It can be either an oval or a road course.  Looks like from what I found, Nascar will use some variation of the road course.

NASCAR is in love with road courses.  I like them but I think they are over doing it.

This is where I'm at. They're really really cool once or twice a year, but if you do it all the time, it loses its appeal.

I can even go three road races and a roval, but that is it!
