Well, Cooper, as the #1 team in the region draws the toughest opening round game. I like their chances the way they are playing now. I agree with the above post that it is good to see Cooper and NDA on opposite sides of the bracket. If they both take care of business that will be one fun championship game!

Any underdogs get a win today?  

Who is most likely district runner up to pull off a win today at NKU?  Holy Cross has a win over Cooper, so you know that is possible.  

In spite of the fact that Ryle lost to Highlands by 25 in Union in January, that one feels like a game that could have something interesting happen.  

Still, I think full chalk today is the most likely outcome in the Girls' 9th at NKU.

I think the closet game today will be Cooper/HC but Cooper still wins by 10.

Finally time for the 9th Region Tournament! The Lady Bluebirds of Highlands High School are in action and they will play the Ryle Raiders at 6:30. Can't make it? I'll be live broadcasting the game on bluebirdsradio.com .

Very few people are going to sit there all day, and those that would you'd more than make up for any ticket sales at the concession stand.
