If injured, I don't think they would bother giving him a minute per game. Sounds like he may be in the coach's doghouse. Not sure, but would love to know what's going on there. 1

I just know that in games I'd watched throughout the season he got significant minutes.

No. What was deleted was a bunch of old guys hating on a kid/young man in the comments of about a dozen posts. Nothing more than what’s been posted already. Fell out of favor with the coach during the year and playing time dropped significantly. In the today’s landscape, why stay and not play? 1

This’ll be his 3rd school in 3 years. Going into the portal is a bigger risk than most people think about. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Could be a possibility he’ll have to sit a year where he goes since this'll be his 2nd time entering the portal as an undergrad. I just hope he fully thought this through and talked to some of his mentors before entering the portal.

So there are limits on how often you can go into the portal and transfer? I just hit google and it says players can transfer as often as they want and be immediately eligible as long as they follow the rules and do it within the portal windows. 2

Yeah it used to be you’re allowed to transfer once without penalties. But it looks like they can transfer as many times as they want without penalties as long as they’re in good academic standings. So it looks like eligibility won’t be lost. 2 1

The NCAA had to change the rule due to a court ruling. 1
