New…meaning new…nothing has been total in either year. But I think we are saying similar things.

true but you still have to use them as a measure (especially when they put 20 something on HHS)…and are you putting Dixie and SK in that same category? I don’t disagree w the defense (and running the ball win championships) BUT I don’t think you should give the trophy away just yet. But that’s just my opinion (that and a buck will buy you a can of Coke at a gas station).

Impressive! Very Impressive! 2A has been no joke for awhile and LCA looks to be proving that once again (along w some others)!

When was the last time that the Tigers had a totally new line and defense (2019) and they gave up a ton of points in back to back games (upper 40s with running clocks!!!). One of them was even a 2A they had running clocked the year before. I personally think it’s pretty darn amazing they’ve won the first four games (OH, 6A, 5A, 6A) and should (IMO) finish the regular season off with one loss. All with a light roster and a new head coach. Pretty amazing. Hats off to the team and the coaching staff.

A lot of growth tonight for the young tigers. Strong start…followed by a kick in mouth that resulted in a loss of momentum. Then a bounce back and a huge stop for the win! CCHS is the only game I see as a problem. Young and thin won’t work against that team. But other than that, the tigers look like they can make another run in 2A.

Time will tell who wins 2A. The talk is irrelevant to the outcome. With that said, I think we all know who should be in the final four. After that, injuries, turnovers, home field advantage, and a million other things come into play. Good luck to all of the teams!

Beechwood did not have a very good offensive game (testament to Mayfield)…but QB missed some very open receivers that could have broken this one open (he’s young). However…their defense won the game for them! Impressive to play poorly and still win. Hats off to Mayfield! Devastated less than a year ago and come close to knocking off Beechwood tonight. Impressive! This game had all of the old school feels!!!
