There were two storylines to this game coming in, and Beechwood dominated both of them tonight. Could LCA defense stop Beechwood's speed? Nope. On offense, it was speed, speed and more speed for

What an unbelievable defensive performance by these Tigers!!!! Nathan Pabst came in for an injured Chase Flaherty and provided a huge spark going for 3 TD's. Lexington here come the Tigers!!!!!

So true. Glad you said that. I said the same thing to some people last night. Those daggone Cardinals find a way not to lose to Beechwood even when their team might not be as good as Beechwood's.

Congratulations to Beechwood on a very impressive win tonight. This is Beechwood’s biggest statement win all season and it’s not so shabby of a time for it to happen.

Great job by BW to hammer LCA. I expected a close win for the Tigers. Congrats to LCA on another good season.

Offense is sexy and gets all the credit, but Defense wins titles and hangs banners in titletown. Beechwoods showed up tonight. Great game. My game balls to #19 Bo Sowder and #59 Jack Meier. You boys lead the way and brought the lumber from where I sat. Great game to the entire defense!

BW shut down the run.  Forced LCA out of their comfort zone.  LCA had no answer on defense.  Great win.

LCA just can't beat Beechwood...0 and 3 in last 3 big games...2 state finals and now semi finals...

I'm not ready for that precedent at the high school level. He's averaged 11 wins a year and has an 80% win percentage, but he's had the misfortune of running into a Beechwood juggernaut and Mayfield at War Memorial a couple of times.

BW completely dominated LCA. Way more lopsided than the score showed. Impressive win.
