Yes you're right and until proven different gotta go with Mayfield when playing local schools in class. But maybe atleast Caldwell can give them a game but this one of those why you play the game games.

How good is Somerset in someone's opinion? And their realistic chances in top heavy 2A.

The 3 are Beechwood, OCath and defending champs LCA. Don't know much about Somerset but if they played Beechwood well in preseason scrimage then include them as 3A. Make no mistake its a 3 man race and Mayfield will be another 3rd round exit which we can't start making that be our norm but has been our exit the past 2 years.

Its still a 3 man maybe 4 man race in 2A.

This game went as expected. The eye test of the first two games showed PT was the better team it was only a matter of by how many points.

Wow after watching them against Murray they are VERY tough offensively wow. This is one of the better games especially in west kentucky along with Mayfield and Paducah. This will show me alot about OC moving forward in 2A. Toss up for me and maybe a slight and I mean slight edge to Apollo razor edge.

Graves will start this season 0-3. This Murray team has way too much power and physicality for this Graves team. Probably similar score as the Paducah score.

Graves does not have enough to stop this Paducah Tilghman team infact don't see a WKY team that can after week 1. Could change as season progresses.

Wow you are absolutely right about number 22 and the Hampton comparison. This time is going to be competive. The linemen did look.awesome as well and the comment about QB being off but he is also explosice. In a live game situation this would of been a running clock. Number 22 looks like he could use some more carries, powerful and explosive.

I think I said in a previous post he was a front runner 2 years ago when Coach Joe retired and may have been wrong according to a post someone made but I said this time he was a obvious choice for Mayfield and to continue the tradition and storied history of this program.
