Thanks for being a little more positive about your player this time but all I've seen is 2 running backs and England in blow outs freshman or not use him more.. You just heard what Astro said using a RB that's a straight forward runner sometimesput a athlete back there for sweeps. I remember the year Murray beat Mayfield yall used 4 RBs...use England more at RB if you like but the XOs of the game is Mayfield needs to throw to the RB bc a route running/pass catching RB is a mismatch against a LB n use a athlete back there so why not use a athlete like Biggers or Brajone who can catch out of the RB position n have moves to make you miss. ie #4 for PT did against Mayfield. We just talking XOs not negatively about players. Mayfield got a 1,000 yard rusher @ 11.9 yards per carry n you saying we got enough RB only use him at WR wow...XOs n mismatches that's what football is about...I'm done with you snake...smh

What I'm saying is...you was the 1 crying about the loud music in the PT lost, criticizing the PT QB by saying "don't make me laugh" when talking about him having offers, now you're criticizing a player that all was said utilize him n others..I went back n looked at a quote from possible Mayfield fan after the Hopkinsville game quote "#2 Biggers needs to be put on the map for scouts. He can flat out play at the college level. He's a lock down corner n is electric on offense when he gets the ball in his hands" All we've said is utilize that talent along with others but then you start to criticize him your own player wow. He was on a murray team that beat mayfield twice, he did shut down their receivers on his side n mayfield has not won state since 2015...how is that talking in tongues...smh

That's not a bad night when a bad team w/inferior offense is going against a good team n for 3 straight years I think he shut down some very good Mayfield receivers for no TD catches infact was part of the team that beat mayfield 2x in a row...I think Mayfield know who he is n what he can do but now you got him along with others. it's not just about him as you're making it but as mention earlier it's about opening up the offense that teams have caught up with..with him Mayfield clearly has a chance to win state especially bc hes a lock down corner but a miss use can cost you the state...now when last time Mayfield has won the state n finally got there last year in a years of drought...with him this is supposed to be YOUR year...don't make this personally just a forum to be use to talk about all the things Astro mentioned not about going to a paid coaching staff...wow

Go back n look at the game, he may have dropped one but he did stumble coming out his break on the 1st pass n the other pass was high n call it a miss if you want. #1 missed a slant possible TD if he can out run PT #4, it has already been stated Dabney dropped 1 n # 15 dropped 1...lot of drops for the whole receiving core which was unusual. I know for a fact the Mayfield fans are not happy and maybe they all need to say something to the coaching staff smh but I do agree it's more than 1 way to get your athletes the ball...it's good to spreed the ball around but were 1 player can go 40 yards a athlete with speed can take it the distance...Mayfield has at least 2 players maybe 3 if you include #15 that can take it the distance from any where any way....football 101...

Man LCA is playing one heck of a schedule...hats off to them and this has to benefit them in the playoffs. I can't pick a winner but I know this will be another heck of a game especially from LCA from what I've seen so far this year...this is so good for high school football..the best playing the best.

Correct: 10-12 years ago Mayfield was 1 of the 1st teams in WKY to figure out that most HS football teams don't have the athletes to stop a 4 or 5 wide offense. Now teams do and coaches have figured it out. Now I'll totally agree w/the offensive line issues but sometimes your RB etc has to just go make it happen when blocking isn't there. FACTS: look it up, Dabney hasn't scored a TD in the last 6 games that's almost a entire season for some teams, not acceptable and he never should've been moved from corner to safety. The transfer from Murray had over 1,000 yards rushing on 87 carries do the math on the average per carry the best in KY high school football last year and is ranked somewhere in KY football history and he has no carries or catches from RB position. In fact when is the last time a RB has caught a pass from that position. Even LCA uses their brut of a RB in their passing gsme. Not counting other play makers Mayfield has...it's time to OPEN it up...those teams listed are more open up than Mayfield and will be a problem late in playoffs..

Explain how they're not...3 of the top 5 and 4 in the top 10 in the region, more came back than what left especially the transfer from Murray, 3 kids have reclassed and playing 5 years of football...Use your weapons and change up your scheme especially offensively.

Thank you that's what I've been seeing in Mayfield for several years....the last 3 or 4 teams in the playoffs have figured them out especially those predictable screens....that's why there is a drought of state championship in Mayfield.

Then he better be careful where he throws the ball....although it looked like they also had some success against Mayfield secondary during the 7 on 7 at Murray State..interesting to see what they do in the passing game this week although it will still not be enough to prevent a running clock at some point.

At first I wasn't worried about 2A bc of LCA maybe depending more on the pass and their defense but seeing this kid on film and how LCA is realizing they better use him...2A should be put on notice as well as any other Mr. KENTUCKY candidates...

It's not that 1 man on PT beat Mayfield but its how they used that 1 man and getting him out in space...LCA and OC imo are much better passing teams than PT... MAYFIELD faithful has to be concerned that teams are attacking one side of their pass defense with success ie Graves County and now PT and they've not made any adjustments. OC and LCA may not have that one athlete like PT but their passing schemes are off the charts and they'll try and exploit what other teams have done with success. Right now Mayfield does have to do better getting JuJu off and running and getting their athletes the ball more in space. So yes of the top 4 especially if OC dominates this game (RIGHT NOW) Mayfield has the most work to do and should have the most concern. But if you think it's about having that 1 athlete that the other teams don't have. The semi finals is your ceiling this year.

IMO, with the sophisicated passing game of OC and their 6'4" QB running it and what's out there on film of Mayfield pass defense and lack of offensive creation on ultilizing their weapons which makes their offense look like its not clicking on all cylinders as compared to last year, they may need to take the most notice...

LCA has played a vigorous schedule wow and this should and could helped them come district and especially playoffs...but this game imo is a toss up...

I totally agree we all watched the same game and we know EXACTLY why Mayfield lost way to obvious.. Please don't take away what the PT players and coaches done on the field and what Mayfield coaches and players didn't do...it is truly over on to the next game for both teams n see each other next year...

If Mayfield don't get Brajone Dabney and Xavier Biggers more involved offensively Mayfield will be done in the semis...OC and especially LCA have better passing and BW is getting there...Congrats to PT for doing what you had to do to win. Which was run the ball behind that big offensive line and attack one side of the field with your passing game.

Look at all the state championship and runner ups Mayfield has compared to PT and then to win 17 straight. It's still hard to believe this has even happened. MAYFIELDis about state championship nothing else matters but they will take another win against PT...PT had better win this year but that was said last year. All the pressure is on them and we know pressure can sometimes bursts pipes. Just hoping for a nice game tonight....

Think about this, Mayfields second team receivers caught touchdown passes against Graves County...the game could have been worse if the first team receivers had of been used more or the 1st played more. All this tells us is that Mayfield has plenty of depth especially at receiver...

I would say Mayfield does have two solid guys in the secondary in Dabney and Biggers as both have been starters since freshman year and Biggers has been a true lock down corner that hasn't been thrown at much his whole career in Murray and when he has been he has the potential to pick 6 you....I know the game are won in the trenches but the way PT likes to throw this one could come down to who has the better secondary as well as receivers bc most play both sides...

Actually it was the 4x100 meters and JuJu Starks was top 5 in 100 meters and Xavier Biggers was top 12 in 200 meters and he helped Murray High win the 4x100 and 4x200 meters state championship as a sophomore the year before and not counting the others. I have to agree speed is no problem for Mayfield who I would say has more speed than LCA and most teams in the state
