  1. I think according to WPSD-TV voted by area coaches Mayfield have 3 of the top 4 players and 4 in the top 10...PT has all the offers and has put more players in college and pros than Mayfield BUT with all that said they can't afford to lose to Mayfield Friday night with all these transfers and offers to make it 18 in a row...lot of pressure on PT to win this year..This should be a good fun week to hype this game up while being respectful...I can't wait...
  2. I have heard who they maybe coming to see but Mayfield has talent and Prime time may see him old self as Mayfields secondary has been dubbed Legion on Doom and with in that there has been an official (NO FLY ZONE) warning within that secondary just ask Graves and Hopkinsville....can't wait and it could be a battle of who actually has the best secondary vs wide receivers...
  3. VOR, I like you bc you tell DaTruth...CB is an awesome awesome QB and I'm so glad he is going to UK but you still have to call it like it is...no defense and too many interceptions is not a good recipe for winning games and especially championship. I do think LCA will win this one..infact they'd better win before the other top three 2A teams conclude they're just a nice show on turf but beatable....man love BGP...
  4. THANK YOU VOR...that's all I was trying to say..those teams were better offensively and defensively and still lost..A 2A team with a good defense ie: BW and Mayfield which traditionally does and have good enough offenses got a shot especially against LCA especially if LCA continues to struggle defensively... Its gonna be interesting in 2A and I can't wait...they've been 0-3 against BW and Mayfield in past 3 years and from what I've been told should of lost last year to OC in playoffs....
  5. What's going to happen when in 2A playoffs, they play a team of equal offense as in the first two games but that team have better defense. I do believe Mayfield and Beechwood will have good enough offenses to put up points and will have better defenses from what I've seen in their first two opponents...I was not impressed with BG or BC defense...Beechwood slowed down in 2 straight championship games LCAs offense, Mayfield done the same in playoffs last year. LCA again is relying too much on their offensive power which can lead to more interceptions and loses in playoffs and championship games.
  6. History may have been made in this game as Xavier is the 3rd generation of Biggers that have caught a touchdown pass and intercepted a pass for Mayfield and both have even been done against Hopkinsville...definitely D1 on either side of the ball and is proving to be a difference maker that will help increase Mayfield's chance of winning a state championship..
  7. I agree as well..even back to the scrimmages it was obvious the offensive line was going to need time to come together and I am thinking along the same lines the PT game maybe that game...
  8. Thanks for helping me clarify my point that also helps validate my point. 52 points scored by BG. Its scary when BGs defense scores 14 points and then their special team score 7 on a KOR..When playing against teams the likes of BC, you can't, I repeat you can't give up points on all 3 phases of the game. With that said, I am excited about this game but has some concerns about LCAs defense and special teams against a good/explosive team...
  9. BC by at least 14 they have the most explosive player on the field and I don't see how a defense that gave up 50 last week is going to stop him and company.
  10. Give me Mayfield by as many as they want it to be...
  11. Gotta go with PT but hope this is not a trap game as last year almost was. Don't need get caught looking forward to playing the much anticipated game against Mayfield the following week.
  12. I will also take Beechwood..hard to go against 3 times class 2A champs until someone beats them.
