🐯 Murray vs. Graves County 🦅

🗞️ | Tigers Haven't Changed Their Stripes, Take High Powered Offense To Mayfield

⚫🟡 | AAA Runner-up hit the ground running - and throwing - this season, hanging 117 points on its first two opponents. The arm and legs of Bruce Willis (yippee-ki-yay!!!) have been the catalyst so far.

💙🩶 | The Eagles are on the other end of the spectrum, averaging just 10.5 points per game so far, albeit against WKY powerhouses Mayfield and Paducah Tilghman. No one can ever say Graves runs from competition.

✏️ 📖 | Graves County leads the series 7-3 since 2011. Murray won 32-14 at home last year, ending a seven game losing streak to the Eagles.

Graves will be battle tested come district play. They were in a similar situation last year and started 0-3. Can Graves match the bruising attack Murray has shown thru 2 games?

Graves will start this season 0-3. This Murray team has way too much power and physicality for this Graves team. Probably similar score as the Paducah score.

Is Stonecipher out for Graves?? Heard he didn't finish the PT game due to a late hit.

Bump.

I believe Stonecipher is good to go. I'm possibly in the minority here, but I think this will be a barn burner!

Graves 7 Murray 7

Halftime

Ugly win for the Tigers. Offensively they were not in sync the entire game. Defense was solid outside of 1 play with many missed tackles. In the second half, Graves did not gain a first down until the last drive of the game when the game was decided.

score much closer than expected but a win against a bigger school is a win you will take every time.
