Wow. Wow. Wow. What a game! Boley is as advertised. What a stud! He will pick you apart if you let him. I feel like we wanted to stop the deep ball more than anything and wanted to keep the ball in front of us. That offensive playbook is nothing like I’ve seen before in HS loved seeing it. But He definitely took advantage first half, second half we made some really nice adjustments that I seen. Kids played their hearts out tonight. But none other than MR. JUJU STARKS!!!!! Give that man the game ball right now! Goodness gracious what a performance from him. On both sides of the ball. He changed the game once he started coming In on defense. His speed was KEY!!! All the kids played amazing! Good frickin game!!!

LCA gave up the big play one too many times on D. That with 2-3 penalties on 3rd down doomed them.

Hard to win at Mayfield

Congratulations!!!

LCA scored the the first three times they had the ball and Mayfield had to score to keep pace. Mayfield finally stopped LCA with 9 seconds to go and with a poor punt by LCA, Mayfield got the ball and scored with two seconds on the clock to tie the game in the first half. Mayfield got the ball first in the second half and kicked a field goal. Mayfield made some adjustments in the second half and came out with a hard fought victory. The Boley kid is as good as advertised, he can really make all the throws. I hope he picks Alabama or Kentucky. This was a really good game to watch.

You know Mayfield has always respected Beechwood. But never more so than after what the Tigers and the city of Fort Mitchell did for the City of Mayfield after the deadly tornado last December. There will always be a special connection between the Tigers and the Cardinals. The Tigers are nothing but class on and off the field.
