Great story here with Rivers, he certainly looked like a high school coach in warm ups, but he did toss a TD and his team had a chance to win. Pretty impressive given he hasn't played in 5 years.

I like White Christmas, it's a good movie and it reminds me of my grandparents. My grandpa was a Bing Crosby fan. Christmas Vacation is an A+ movie but it's on so much it isn't as special. My dad took my older brother to see that when it came out. They were both crying laughing walking out of the theatre. For me my favorite is It's a Wonderful Life. I just love the movie, it gives me the truest feeling of what Christmas is supposed to be about.

My first thought when I saw this last night was "Why are you in shotgun for the victory snap?". I wasn't thinking about yards given up, it was to me more of an opportunity for a bad snap. But then you see the other team still had to kick a 42 yard FG to win, bad coaching for sure. The kid tossing his helmet stinks but the coach lost them this game more than anything.

Beating teams they should but not teams they need to so far. Indiana is not a very good team nor are our Cats, but we get the W. The effort in the second half was what has been missing all year, and Garrison played like he took the benching last game personally. Let’s hope it carries over the rest of the season.

It was on track to be done for a couple games this year but then Mother Nature intervened. It’ll be ready for next year no problem.

What a beautiful night shoveling snow, fighting Mano v mano the snowplow, drinking some pops and listening to tunes while the Xmas lights are on early. 9 year old enthusiasticly helping me for some reason, and then I get to come in for the Cats vs Indiana at Rupp. Life is good. That being said I’m taking the boys even though I don’t fully trust them. Go Blue.

Great interview with Chuck Smith and @ChiefSmoke on the coaches podcast. As Coach said he’ll never know the whole truth, or will the general public, but be definitely came across positively. I love the fact his two sons were already asking where they’re coaching next.

I'd be hesitant about that hire as well. If Scott is serious about their program they need a hire they believe will give them a solid run, not just chasing the next big thing. And with a track record of only staying a place for a few years, It would be tough not to go with someone else.
