The kicker for Ole Miss definitly needs to be on the NFL radar. He was a major reason they won last week and were in the game last night. Had he not doinked the one kick, they would've been in range for a game winner again. How many INTs did Miami drop last night? Their defense stepped up once again. Miami certainly proved me wrong with their offense, but I was also unaware that Ole Miss was the 3rd worst tackling team in the SEC as they said last night. Great game overall, exciting until the last play and that's what we want as fans.

Has anyone ever seen a pass interference call on a Hail Mary? It’s never called and this was an instance it would’ve been a correct call. Maybe it’s a unwritten rule.

It’s never to early and the Birds always get the football fans talking. The Benke brothers are ginormous and I think it’s so cool to both be that good to start opposite of each other on defense. I know we heard from day one of the Sphire administration that size on the line would be a priority. Last year they were absolutely huge and I don’t think they ran the ball enough. Kremer is going to be a stud, If they don’t roll with Lorenzen at QB (no clue if they should) because he can play position, if not Armstrong then who is the next viable option? Seems this years team won’t be hurting for skilled players but per usual the non-skilled don’t get much pub. Good luck this year.

I was of the thinking that yeah OSUs offense is machine but what Miami did to it made me pay attention. In this one the one thing Ole Miss has going for them is they can score points and Miami's offense isn't exactly all that. I'm taking Ole Miss.

For a school that doesn’t lack confidence in their football program, the higher ups sure make the fans look foolish. You have a huge amount of support from the community, from the student body and from the parents. What are they doing? Hire someone you believe in, give him a long leash and get out of the way.

Breds with another revamped starting lineup get of to a very hot start. Maybe it was the opponent, maybe not, but they were moving so much more on offense off the ball than any game this season. Driving to and finishing at the hoop instead of driving then kicking it out. It was nice to see players move instead of sitting still. Plenty of people thought the subs were put in way to early but if you're confident they won't lose the game then the final score doesn't matter. I was told the young man for Holmes did go down with an Achilles injury, which stinks because he was a good player.

Traffic can be a bear on Carothers Road these days especially after 4pm, but if I can get her permission it won't be an issue. I'll sell pops for a $1 a can as well.

It’ll be a packed house that game. That being said, the RPI has made to where Lloyd has very little gain and a lot to lose playing smaller schools that are only a 15 minute drive away.

How realistic is it to build a successful program here? What are the upsides and downsides?

If you were a successful coordinator who failed as a Head Coach, why wouldn't you want to go back to life as a coordinator? You have the HC money and now all you have to worry about is one side of the ball. Sign me up for that gig.

As much as I pay attention to the Breds my attention span can't handle the intricacies of assistant coaches. I hope he does a good job.
