Talking with a co-worker- we can't seem to find a definate place for the 2026 dates.  Have they been announced yet? 

Dead period is the same every year. June 25-July 9. Teams can return to practice on July 10th (which is a Friday this year)

I'm an old guy who can't keep up and wanted to be sure I wasn't giving the young dog wrong info.  I think he's reaching out to the AD too but this certainly helps him for vacation purposes!

If I read my context clues correctly, you may be a Diocese of Covington person. I think the Diocese extends the KHSAA dead period to 3 weeks

They do 3 weeks but don’t a lot of schools give their teams an extra week off?

I know it is common to extend it until atleast that following Monday.
