2026 Lloyd Juggernauts

Featured Replies

Lloyd Memorial had a very successful season at 13–1. Losing to Murray, knock them out of going to State. Lloyd is in the process of looking for someone to fill the shoes of quarterback Caleb Evans. There are a few other areas that need to be filled.

Offense we lose 4
QB
WR
TE
HB

Defense we lose 5
C
S
DE
LB
C

They still have our entire OL (all will be seniors) 3 WR’s and both RB’s

Defense they still have our 3 main LB’s, 3 DL, SS and backup C’s

What I think is really gonna be exciting about this year is all of the unseen talent of the underclassmen. Make no mistake about it. I truly believe this team is going to just reload. Replacing Evans will be difficult for sure. I’m expecting the offense to change to a little bit of more of a run offense versus a passing offense. The starting under classmen of this past years team will be a year older, a year stronger and a year faster. I am going to go ahead and say it, this team will be in contention for a state run next year.

After all the C++++'s I gave them for 2025 @DRKARK I have to backtrack on those, they had an A+ season and I am looking forward to watching them again in 2026.

For how perfect things had to be played out for Lloyd to get home field advantage in 2025 I think they may need to swap Newport or NCC out for a 4A, 5A or 6A school to help them out with RPI to get that home field advantage again in 2026. They were undefeated and barely were able to come up with that #2 seed due to how good the top teams were in 3A.

CAL is, CAL...and they will have that #1 seed sewed up. Murray and Bell will both be good teams again. Lex Cath will be looking to improve with a bad taste lingering in their mouth. That #2 seed will be a hard one to bargain for just like it was in 2025 but the Juggs did a fantastic job earning it.

Scheduling a bigger school in place of Newport or NCC earlier in the year could also be tricky for the Juggs, not knowing exactly what they will be getting from the next QB1. The margin of error for that #2 seed will be very very slim again this year.

Could not agree more! The schedule will remain the same this year with the only difference being the home games will now be away games. But the following year, I would like to see them drop Newport and pick up Dixie or somebody like that. Also, I believe when you play an out-of-state team you only get about..50000 in the RPI.

Well with that being said, looks the the Juggs and NCC will be breaking in that new scoreboard at Bob Schneider field in week 1. Nice.

It’ll be a packed house that game. That  being said, the RPI has made to where Lloyd has very little gain and a lot to lose playing smaller schools that are only a 15 minute drive away.

You still on board with shuttling fans to the game from your mom's house for a fee? May take me longer to walk up That Hill then it takes me to travel to the game.

Traffic can be a bear on Carothers Road these days especially after 4pm, but if I can get her permission it won't be an issue. I'll sell pops for a $1 a can as well.

Not trying to be mean, but I do believe that NCC first game on their new field is going to be a loss.

I sure hope so.  If Lloyd has any chance to compete in 3A, a running clock victory over NCC would be a minimum "requirement."

No running clock with Terry Brown as head coach. His defense will not let that happen.

I ran into a "Lloyd Superfan" a couple of weeks ago.  He talked my ears off about the Juggs, went on and on, and he told me something I had a hard time believing.  He told me Lloyd will be better in 2026 than they were in 2025.  I even let him cool his jets and I asked him about it again 30 minutes later, still the same, Lloyd will be better in 2026.  Wow, I hope so!

Anyone?
