I ran into a "Lloyd Superfan" a couple of weeks ago.  He talked my ears off about the Juggs, went on and on, and he told me something I had a hard time believing.  He told me Lloyd will be better in 2026 than they were in 2025.  I even let him cool his jets and I asked him about it again 30 minutes later, still the same, Lloyd will be better in 2026.  Wow, I hope so!

Anyone?

Unfortunately IMO, nothing in the regular season will answer that question - unless they added someone more challenging to their schedule. Not being more battle tested in the regular season could keep them from taking the next step in the postseason. The 2026 team will need to get to a title game to say they are better than the 2025 Juggs.

For how perfect things had to be played out for Lloyd to get home field advantage in 2025 I think they may need to swap Newport or NCC out for a 4A, 5A or 6A school to help them out with RPI to get th

I ran into another person "associated" with Lloyd football last week and he told me he thought Lloyd would be better this year, just like the last Lloyd person I talked too.  And this one added "they" love the coaches at Lloyd.

They will have a Sophomore qb. But he will be surrounded by Seniors.

Lloyd has 5 kids on the online that go 6'1 to 6'3 and 250 to 280.

That is a lot of size for a 3A team.

They are loaded at receiver and running back as well.

With the OL coming back, I think that they will be as good as last season, maybe better.

That is what I have been hearing from people close to the program.

From Lloyd Juggernauts Football on Facebook:

Attention Parents and Players:

Please keep in mind when buying cleats that they are to be team colors (navy blue, gold, grey, black or white) and no designs on them. Also players are allowed to purchase their own mouthpieces but they have to be team colors only and cannot have any designs on them and must have the strap connected to it but we do have team issued mouthpieces if they don’t want to buy one. If skilled players buy a back plate it to has to be team colors and cannot have any design on it except for the company name. All other accessories and colors aren’t allowed.

Only exception to the mouthpiece is if they have braces they are to get the blue shock doctor mouthpiece and they are sold at Dick’s Sporting Goods (must have the strap included).

It is nice to see the discipline, good job Jugg powers that be!

No, when we talked in person about this not too long ago I thought you were humble about Lloyd 2026.

From Lloyd Football:

We had 51 JUGGERNAUTS show up for JUGG WARRIOR #4 this morning and knocked out an extreme 6am workout throughout the neighborhood. 37 of those 51 that showed up this morning had completed all 4 of the JUGG WARRIORS and will continue on to compete in the ULTIMATE JUGG WARRIOR next Thursday morning. Shoutout to everyone who had participated in the JUGG WARRIORS and it’s great to see them all bond as one and that the leadership continues to show.

BE HERE! BE BETTER!! BE ACCOUNTABLE!!!

BE LOUD! BE PROUD!! BE A JUGGERNAUT!!!
