I guess I’m not as hard on high school coaches as alot of people. Got to the semi finals and a bunch of regional finals. New Cath had a heck of a run from 2000-2015. Best run they’ve ever had. With enrollment numbers being what they are I’d say he did fine. Did us s as fans want more? Absolutely, but sometimes that’s the way it is.

With all the coaching changes already this offseason, as a head coach who accepts a job and within the next two years your “dream job” opens up. How do you navigate that having spent a season or so at your current program building relationships with your current players, community and administration?

This does make for an interesting dynamic between the two Campbell Co catholic schools. A chance to build your own legacy and make Brossart a small school power, or Add to the long history of NCC football and put your name next to state championship coaches and break in a brand new stadium with outstanding community support. Maybe this will finally get these two programs to finally play every year and develop a heated rivalry.

Players were told he was resigning. He mentioned if his son had wanted to attend NCC he would’ve been more than willing to coach, but he’s going to Highlands and obviously he wants to watch him play. He had a really good run at NewCath and I’m sure he would’ve loved a season in the new stadium, but that is life. Good luck coach and thank you.

I was told TB had been contacted by Brossart for the job and he said no. Don't know if got past an email or phone call, so that perked my ears up a little. I'm hopeful as well, but he has a pretty good gig at CovCath. Whomever they hire, I hope they come in with a sense of pride and respect of the tradition of the program that the players feed off of. That should be expected of all coaches at the program they lead but not sure if it's always the case.

Madden44 I’m pretty sure I said the Texans defense is to good compared to the Steelers offense. Was that correct? I wish I could go back and lol that stuff up.

NewCath 198 and Dayton at 143? That’s all we need to know.

NewCath has shown this season it can keep up with the teams they play, buuuuut they simply make to many self inflicted turnovers. Once they get squeezed a little on offense they’ll just throw the ball up an hope a Breds player gets it. If they can get away from that they have a chance In a lot of their games. Good luck to everyone, I very much enjoy the All “A”, which wouldn’t have started without the leadership and foresight of the late Stan Steidel.

I agree but Mike Brown won't even pay for a pad of paper or a pen to take the notes. That is very much the difference. Robert Kraft was a season ticket holder with a dream of making the Pats a championship team. Mike Brown inherited a family buisness.

The catch by CMc was awesome but the throw was equally impressive.

$20 million price tag seems a little high for Harbaugh, but if he wants to be the GM as well it seems a fair price.

I’d be remissed if I didn’t add NewCath vs Brossart to end the basketball season. It’s a heated rivalry between the two Catholic schools in Campbell County.

Feels good to get some street cred. Thank you. I don’t dive into numbers or analytics, but I watch enough and read enough about the games to make a pretty good educated decision.
