Final. A much needed win for the Cats as they improve to 1-2 in the SEC and get their 10 win and State falls to 2-1 in league play. Next up Wednesday at LSU.

Much needed win! Got off to another horrible start, and another double digit deficit under Pope. However, they basically dominated after that, and honestly probably kept tournament hopes alive, as they couldn’t lose this game. Let’s hope they can start stacking some wins together now, and slowly get it going. 

The Cats were listed as last four in a few hours ago. Not sure if it was before or after this game but accurate in my mind.

Anyone else wondering if Quaintance plays again?

Tough start but UK got things rolling. Can’t get to 30 wins without yesterday’s victory!

I don’t know about Quaintance, but I could see Lowe calling it quits for the season to focus on the shoulder.

Aberdeen did a very nice job at PG last night. In some ways, better than what I have seen with Lowe at PG. Better ball movement in half court offense. Aberdeen is more of a shooting threat than Lowe. Oweh is showing growth as a ball handler and shooter. A healthy Lowe is a big help. Lowe as he is, nothing but a season long question mark. I would tell Lowe to get healthy. If that means season ending surgery, so be it. It is about 2026-27 for him. And I think this UK team is better off getting to a healthy Lowe than what they have with him now.

The must wins are the SEC tournament and a big run the Tournament.

Totally disagree, you have to gain momentum as a team by stringing together wins throughout the season or no chance in tourney!

What I saw from UK is that Mo, Oweh and another big don't need to be on the floor together.  UK played better with Mo on the bench and playing a stretch 4.  Opened up the lane for drives and gave us shooting threats.  That's what Pope is comfortable with as well.
