I'd like to say good luck to Steve with his new role and glad he gets to enjoy watching his son play.  I've known him for over 30 years and he's always been genuine.  What you see is what you get.  

As for the opening, there's a VERY VERY good list of alums with a lot of success on the sideline.  I'm going to say the search starts there.  Breaking in the new field, tons of athletes coming up.  The right fit could have a lot of success.  For those that don't know the JR High program fielded a 7th grade team and an 8th grade team.  NewCath has had a Jr. High program since 89 or so.  This was the first time.  I'm Bullish on the Breds with the options open to them.

I would be surprised if TB left CovCath.

I'm cautiously optimistic.  

I was told TB had been contacted by Brossart for the job and he said no. Don't know if got past an email or phone call, so that perked my ears up a little. I'm hopeful as well, but he has a pretty good gig at CovCath.

Whomever they hire, I hope they come in with a sense of pride and respect of the tradition of the program that the players feed off of. That should be expected of all coaches at the program they lead but not sure if it's always the case.

TB is a great human. He would be a great hire for NCC; just think he has too good of a thing going at CovCath. I am not sure NCC can match what he has at CovCath.
