The first coach to fall is the Falcons Raheem Morris he was fired tonight despite the strong finish. They also fire their general manager Terry Fontenot as well. The firings are starting a little early I guess.

"Show me a good quarterback & I'll show you a good job."- Colin Cowherd

When he's been asked about NFL vacancies over the years, and it's so true.

Penix isn't it and largely due to his injury history with back in November being his 3rd. He tore one of them twice in college, and not the most recent to the other knee. Sadly, that's got to be something genetic & doctor I am not.

ATL obviously got in a groove once Cousins' got back in the saddle after knocking three months worth of dust off. I'm not sure what QB's will be left by the time their pick comes around, but they need to go ahead and just name Kirk the starter in the last year of his contract (did sign a 3 year deal, right)?

Raheem Morris will get another job this cycle if he wants it.

Four bad losses (October- Carolina & Miami, November- Jets & Seahawks..not that losing to Seattle was bad, but the 4TD loss in which it happened)

Three good wins (Buffalo, Rams & the Bucs Pt 2), all of which occurred while Cousins was back as QB1.

Will Ravens fire their coach?

They shouldn't, but who knows..not early on anyway. Some are unhappy with John, but not unhappy enough to see him land elsewhere- namely an AFC 'elswhere'.

I believe they will, as the relationship seems stale... And I fully expect Harbaugh to land another gig several days later.

If I have this correct, there has never been a head coach - QB combo together as long as Harbaugh and Jackson have been (8 years) without winning a Super Bowl.

Giants and Titans obviously still open. Atlanta is the best job of the four so far.

And who else could potentially be today? Gannon with the Cardinals? Looks like Bowles in Tampa, McDaniels in Miami, and Glenn for the Jets all are expected to return. Gannon and then probably Pete Carroll with the Raiders are the most likely with Harbaugh as a maybe. Then you have the possibility still that Tomlin and/or McDermott could be fired after a first round playoff loss, though I believe both to be unlikely.

Personally, I think the firings are done today. Which seems like a wildly low number.

Carroll is done in Vegas. Whoever gets this job will be the 16th coach of the Raiders since 2000 (really 15 because Gruden had two stints), and 6th since 2020. What a mess.

Morris will get another head coaching job this cycle if he wants it? Or do you mean he will get a coordinator position somewhere?

Head coach if he wants it and/or enough that come open. I could see him going to Cleveland.

I would be shocked if he were to get another NFL head coaching job anytime soon if ever, much less this year. Only because it is very rare to a coach get a third opportunity, after already having two failed head coaching opportunities where he has now been fired twice, and only 1 year of having a winning record in his 6 years as a head coach. His career record as a head coach is 37 and 56 and no post season appearances.

He is a great DC, but unfortunately as we have seen with other great DC's who failed as head coaches. It is hard time getting even a second chance as a head coach, much less a third. I do think he will get interviews, but I would be shocked if he gets another head coaching job this cycle or anytime soon.

Oh, no doubt it would be hard. I guess what I should have said behind the likes of Cleveland....is dumpster fires. Them, the Raiders, etc...which are proven grave yard jobs, thus one's that most hot name Coordinator's won't jump at.
