If you’re this guy, you have a ton of money, would you stay in South beach and live Salt life the rest of your life? Or do take a job in a cold climate?

Carroll is done in Vegas. Whoever gets this job will be the 16th coach of the Raiders since 2000 (really 15 because Gruden had two stints), and 6th since 2020. What a mess.

South Beach.

Join the staff at The U.

Take FIU or FAU when the come open again soon, as they both do.

Or neither, stay there, buy an offshore fishing yacht to go along with his joy riding one.

Either way, never leave.

He is young.  It really depends on what Coach McDaniel wants to do.  Maybe take a year off, maybe grab a college job, maybe an OC in the NFL, who knows...

On The Herd they are talking about Harbaugh looking for 20 million a year to go to the Browns and total control.

Colin also talked about McDaniel becoming the Lions OC.

Of course I think if he can get money like that but I really think the reason he said he would not be taking any interviews until next week is he is wanting to see possible openings after Wild Card Weekend. The talk is there is as many as 4 of the 12 teams could fire their coaches with a loss this weekend. Those teams are the Bills, Packers, Eagles, and Steelers. It will get very interesting next week.

John H is about to get paid somewhere.  Wish I was in his shoes.

I heard that. I thought 20 million sounded insanely high. Then I googled NFL head coach salaries:

1. Andy Reid $20M

2. Sean Payton $18M

3. Mike Tomlin $16M

4. Jim Harbaugh $16M

5. Sean McVay $15M

Mike McDaniel has interviews next week with both the Browns and the Titans.

$20 million price tag seems a little high for Harbaugh, but if he wants to be the GM as well it seems a fair price.

As many of us BGP’s thought that with loss Tomlin would be gone. The Steelers allowed and might I say he deserved to step down on his own and not be fired.

Might have been better to be fired, then he could have taken another coaching job.

Is the Steelers job easily the best job available?

I personally feel the Ravens would be better and I also like the Falcons job as well. imo

Broke by our CEO of BGP @theguruthe Falcons have hired Kevin Stefanski as their next head coach. I thought he would be the leading candidate after Harbaugh's hiring. Not a great PR move in my opinion to announce it during a prime-time NFL playoff game. I think this is a good hire he is a two-time Coach of the Year winner.

I should have put it here!
