The 1951 Alistair Sim version of a Christmas Carol is my favorite, but I enjoy just about any version of the story.

For some campy comic relief, Youtube has Rich Little's Christmas Carol.  Very late 1970s.

Alistair Sims is my favorite as well. We watched it I. World Civ every year and would give the kids a piece of chocolate each day we watched. 
 

Christmas is a TOUGH time of year for a lot people. Wanted those kids to have at least one good memory from that Christmas and that Coach Buchanan made an effort. 

I like a lot of those movies in the poll, but I have a spot in my heart for "Miracle on 34th Street" (the 1947 version).  I grew up watching that movie almost every year along with "It's a Wonderful Life".

I like White Christmas, it's a good movie and it reminds me of my grandparents. My grandpa was a Bing Crosby fan. 

Christmas Vacation is an A+ movie but it's on so much it isn't as special. My dad took my older brother to see that when it came out. They were both crying laughing walking out of the theatre.

For me my favorite is It's a Wonderful Life. I just love the movie, it gives me the truest feeling of what Christmas is supposed to be about.
