Wolfe recently completed 27 years of teaching, which is the first year full retirement benefits are available. He wouldn’t rule out coaching again.

Possible. His wife Marcia is a realtor in Louisville though, and I believe their daughter lived her whole life up until college in Louisville. So when you look at the fact that working on Poplar Level Road wouldn't require them to pick up their lives and move, I've gotta think the the St. X job has a little extra shine on it.

Agreed. I think they're certainly going to be looking at a national search when it comes to making their hire, but they would be foolish not to talk to Nino in the process.

Job well done Coach Wolfe. Is St. X the next move? 

Wolfe will be the next head coach at St. Xavier (Louisville) in my humble opinion.

Congrats Coach Wolfe and I can't wait to see what is next!

I can't imagine X's board wanting to relive the Wallace situation again with Wolfe, especially with an in-house candidate who likely has the backing of many Xaverians...that said, Wolfe is a tremendous coach and has had the most success against us when its mattered, so not a big surprise if they choose him. 

 

NKY doesn't have the same appeal it did before yesterday, FWIW!!!
