Even 237 is not a ton of yards, obviously you expect to win if you out-gain your opponent by 100 yards but 237 yards is not exactly moving the ball at will. Now for Male’s defense, 115 yards is just a total suffocating performance and I would never have imagined a team could lose giving up that few total yards.

The program was in really really rough shape after the last 4 years from a number and talent perspective. -
McCracken County at Bowling Green Predictions/Updates

In McCracken more specificity it is harder to untangle because the baseball numbers didn’t boom until the middle school football program really feel off a cliff. -
BluegrassPreps Class 6A Football Rankings 8/22

The only team outside of Louisville I’m confident is any good at all Madison Central. To be perfectly honest, I’m pretty sure most teams between about 6 and maybe 15 are interchangeable in 6a, which can be said for most ever year. -
McCracken County at Bowling Green Predictions/Updates

This is something I know both baseball coach in the schools history have been adamant about is keeping the middle school programs separate from each other so they just have a much larger talent pool to work with. -
McCracken County at Bowling Green Predictions/Updates

The numbers have tanked during the years Corey Robinson and Jason Nickel were running the program, who both moved to PT a couple years ago. In the first couple years of the consolidated middle school, the numbers were much better. -
Mayfield vs. Hopkinsville Predictions/Updates
R1 sports fan replied to DevilMayCare's topic in KY Football (High School)
Sorry that is what i meant to say, the defense for hop town wasn't bad by any means, and probably played well enough to win most games, but the offense was awful. -
I would agree, but I’m not really sure what Bryan Station has done over the last 2 years to earn the respect they are given. Off the top of my head I don’t remember a single win or a top quality team in the state, mostly just beating teams comparable in talent level, but never really beating teams more talented then them.

Mayfield vs. Hopkinsville Predictions/Updates

Mayfield wins pretty easily, really uninspiring week 1 for Hoptown, although the defense was terrible, the offense couldn’t do much of anything, I suspected a similar game to last week for Hoptown. M-28 H-7 -
I can’t believe more people picked Highlands pre-game.

Jonathan Smith Hired as Head Coach at McCracken County
R1 sports fan replied to bugatti's topic in KY Football (High School)
I’m not totally sure McCracken will ever be a football school, at this point it would definitely be more of a baseball or basketball school. But I would also never say never. -
Jonathan Smith Hired as Head Coach at McCracken County

Well Marshall County might go back down to 5a, and South Warren could go up to 6A, which would be a huge deal for the district. -

How high was the interest in this job? Given the state of he program, and also how much the district is about to change, I could see it being a job that wasn’t super coveted. -
Expanding the Basketball State Tournament

If anything I think we need classification, and have the final 4 of each class played at Rupp. -
Smith did a good job at PT, before Smith was there PT had a couple of down years with some really talented teams, and PT immediately got better. The optics don't look great because of they success they has this year, but i certainly would approve of Smith as the next coach.
-
I would be stunned if Lewis got it, his Trigg teams were always real underachievers.
-
The numbers were down every year, not just last year, McCracken didn’t even have a freshman team for the last 3 years, it was freshman and sophomore’s, at a 6a school that just isn’t good enough.
-
The biggest issue at the moment at McCracken County is they just do not have that many players, the roster was down to about 60 by the end of last year, with the last couple freshman classes being really lacking in number and just overall talent.
-
That would absolutely be the worst decision, Corey single-handedly turned the middle school program from a good program, to an absolute disgrace, Corey has done nothing to earn the McCracken job and I couldn’t imagine a worse person for the job.

The idea that Clark would step down from the program was not a surprise, but, the timing is weird. It certainly felt like he was staying for at least another year at this point in the year.

Rams 23 Bengals 20 Super Bowl LVI
R1 sports fan replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in National Football League (NFL)
The Rams could run it better if they were less predictable on when they were going to run in, and McVay needs to take a page out of the Kyle Shanahan play book have a more run diverse scheme(ie more counter and power, with less inside and outside zone). Almost ever first and second down run the Bengals used the 6-1 defense against the Rams offense, dictating that the Rams would not be able to run the ball at least in the way they typically do. McVay refused to adjust until the last drive and it almost cost them the game.
