This is why high school basketball needs a shot clock, this game was I believe 13-13 at half, just awful to watch.

Very physical game, very few fouls called. 

Which team played the slow ball? Or was it just good defense both ways? 

McCracken had a celebration worthy of final 4 in Rupp a few weeks agoWhen they played Murray. I’ve never seen a coach react like that to regular season game. Glad to see the tigers win the one that actually counted no matter how it looked.

Emotional game as McCracken came back from 5 points down with just couple minutes to play, gotta celebrate when you can. 

When McCracken beat Murray at Murray that made 50 straight wins in a row vs Region 1 teams.  Big accomplishment for any program. Mccracken was without their leading scorer and rebounder. 

 

Where was he? Hurt?

The Region 2 championship game was played at the same time and the final score was 87-69.

McCracken County plays a somewhat grind-it-out style and they averaged 58 points per game this season, which is a little less than normal for most clubs. Interestingly, in their four losses, the Mustangs only averaged 41 points per game.

If you told me before the game that either team would hold the other to team to the final score I would have told you who wins.
