  1. I’m not sure the number but this did happen, it has decimated the McCracken middle school program, and will hurt the variety program for the next 4 years most likely.
  2. Compared to what baseball and basketball do each year, I can see the point, the soccer program is by no means bad.
  3. I couldn’t tell you, most people at McCracken would tell you soccer is under-achieving as well.
  4. This is early the worst team Coach Clark has had, and the biggest problem is he just doesn’t have enough kids playing football. The roster size has shrunk each year he has been there.
  5. Thank you for more information, I was surprised by the margin, still think would say the best 5 teams in 6A are all in Louisville.
  6. I thought Manual would win, but the margin of victory is shocking.
  7. Literally 30 second after that McCracken threw a pick 6, 49-28 Apollo.
  8. I’ll take McCracken by 3, this should be a close game, teams going in the opposite directions, would not be surprised if both teams split the regular season and playoffs.
  9. They do lose some, but the majority of the roster is Juniors or younger, I believe they only have like 8 seniors.
  10. Yes McCracken has been a 1 seed that has lost in the first round to a 4 seed twice, now to be totally fair I do believe both teams they lost to were also top 10 Teams. In 2014 McCracken lost 35-20 to DuPont Manual, who has lost to Male 28-21, Trinity 14-3 in the regular season, and then lost to Saint X 12-7 in the Second round. Then in 2016, McCracken played PRP lost 34-10( admittedly the game was not close the last quarter and a half), who lost to Male 24-27 in the second round. The PRP loss was admittedly worse, but it would be a stretch to call both of those bad loses.
  11. I would say most the time those teams were top 10, but 7-10. The bigger issue for Mayfield is their geography, they don't have historical contenders Covington Catholic and are not an hour from the greater Lexington area. It has hurt Mayfield that both teams in McCracken County(MC and PT) are not nearly as good as they could be. The closest state championship caliber teams are all in Warren County or east, a 2 and a half hour plus drive from War Memorial stadium. While it would help the cardinals to have some long road games, it is not practical to make an entire schedule out of those games.
  12. Over the past 5 years, McCracken County, PT, and Hopkinsville have been consistently ranked in the top 10 in there class.
  13. If Oldham county played Trinity tomorrow, they would 100% lose.
  14. I would say beechwood has played a schedule that on the surface looks much harder then Mayfield’s, given the name recognition of the teams they played. In reality, Beechwood has not played the toughest schedule, and neither has Mayfield. The only thing that is abundantly clear to me is that LCA has easily the 2 most impressive wins in 2A, beating Boyle County, and then dominating Lex Cath.
  15. I would say yes, I would feel much more confident if Mayfield was playing a home game, but they are not to be overlooked.
  16. That sounds like the craziest win I’ve ever heard of, and also just an awful way to lose.
  17. Good win for Danville, stuffing how far NH has fallen.
  18. They Central Hardin very well could be better then all the above teams, but given the track record of the program in the last couple years, hard to rank them that high, but a win this week against a solid Henderson County squad certainly would show how improved they are this year.
  19. Beechwood is a GREAT team, especially for there class, but they are not a top 5 team in the state.
  20. Definitely not a given, if I am correct the game is at Apollo correct?
